Sisters are among the best of the best. They're training every bit as rigorous and deadly as that of Space Marines recruits. Do or do not there is no try, there is only death in their failure, depending on the Order. For female humans and even male humans, they must prove that they are the most capable and faithful soldiers before they receive the full power armor, combat drugs and occasional augmentations.

@@Chromevod Yes, sisters of battle are normal humans in all aspects. they just have a insane training regimen that puts them into the absolute best shape possible. They also benefit from stimulant drugs basically like super steroids. sisters are seriously jacked if you took their armor off they would look like the most extreme example of a professional body builder. they also have some limited bionics, but their genes are not altered in anyway they do not have extra organs implants or anything of the sort and are definitely not bioengineered. It should also be mentioned that the sisters faith in the emperor is so strong that it quite literally shields them and bestows them with somewhat superhuman ability at times, their connection to the emperor brings them closer to the warp than most and in some cases they have even possessed limited psychic powers.

The problem of urban warfare. You can be surprised at any time, but in a city, especially a ruined one, there is a lot of places where you can get shot from and things to hide behind. Fatigue will dull your perception. Any moment of distraction or not looking in the right direction can be a death sentence. A sad fate but not an uncommon one.
@lamesurfer1015 Жыл бұрын
@@kingskelett6265 City-fights, especially in super-cities is a fucking nightmare. Thanks to the dimensionality and the over abundance of cover and concealment, you could very well be mere meters away from your opponent at all times and in every direction. But paradoxically, you must expose yourself or cross linear hazards where you are viewable from possibly kilometers away. Either way, there's a chance you'll have to discriminate between combatants and civilians at a distance or with half a heartbeat to decide whether to pull the trigger on the human silhouette you just saw. Furthermore, the air and water is toxic (or at the very least carcinogenic) from all the burning materials and unprocessed sewage and the buildings you walk on could be losing their stability moment by moment. Luckily, we haven't had to experience that is in the US. But If there is one thing I'd say is nightmare fuel, its clearing staircases. That shit still gives me sweats.

Regarding the zombies, it's all apart of the aptly named Pariah Nexus. There's some written lore on it in some White Dwarf magazines back during the 9th edition launch and such. Really creepy and depressing too, the Imperium really isn't prepared for any of what the Necrons bring to the table during the campaign. Also, during the series, when the Deathmark is hunting the Ultramarine it's been speculated that it's the same Veteran Sergeant from the 9th edition launch video and Danica is the SoB (they share the same scar on their face). Additionally, the Sister's faith and the Ecclesiarchy are actually the only reason the battle continues at all. Early on it's determined that the populations of various planets affected by the Nexus have been 'rendered' down by the Necrons. As the fighting begins, the Imperium holds their ground, even gaining some, before the Astra Militarum regiments start reporting mass blindness and the outbreak of the zombie plague. Only the Space Marines and various religious fanatics and groups are able to resist the nexus' effects; the Space Marines because of who and what they are, the Sisters and various hangers on because of the power of their faith - it acts as a shield for those around them as well. Like I said, it's a great campaign and sticks with just how horrible the Necrons are as enemies. Another excellent campaign worth reading is the FW book, The Fall of Orpheus.

If it's just what I saw of the episode, it's very short, for how long it took. Considering that initial action video from years ago, a trailer just over 2 years ago and only now this mini, which can't even be called a series. Not to belittle all the work of the team behind the animation, there is undoubtedly a lot of dedication there, you can see it. But I expected much more in terms of quantity, I don't know if it's finished yet.... I'm sorry for anyone who subscribes to Warhammer Plus, waiting so long for so little. Counterpoints, I’ve been enjoying your videos on WH and you’ve got me interested. Note, I’m interested in the stories, I’m NOT putting any money to collect and paint miniatures. I’ve got too many hobbies already. One thing that keeps me from delving in is that the stories and the lore still seem to me to be haphazardly slapped together without thought to meaning. I like analyzing stories, to discern what the author(s) are trying to tell us. I’m having trouble in discerning what messages the stories are trying to convey. To me, the WH universe seems to be a collection of dramatic stories/factions/histories that have nothing to offer outside of immediate, dramatic entertainment. Maybe I’m wrong. But this is something I’ve wanted to discuss with you for a while.

the story is truly a touch by the black library. They love to have 2 or more plot lines going on parallel. A human perspective in the story, such as the sister; whether she is delusional, or unreliable narrative. Then a glimpse of hope, such as lonely salamander; whether he survives or not XD its better to be open ended. A galactic size asshole running the show, and even he is beaten, it's equivalent to spitting at a person's long casting shadow. It neither inconsequential nor memorable to him.

Interesting side note about “turning the other cheek” in historical times in the Middle East. It used to be a challenge to someone of higher status than yourself. Typically they would slap you back handed, if you turned the other cheek, they would have to slap you with the palm - regarding you as equal. If they slapped you with the palm, you could fight back. The West’s translation interpreted this as passive compliance, not rising to someone’s bait and being the bigger person by not fighting.

Like the channel! Can you handle some positive critiic? I am glad your sound isnt crap anymore! Probably has a touch more room to improve, louder is usually better since I watch on ipads usually. I love the Warhammer videos, but I feel as though you are going through a dryspell and may want to branch out into some other anime since GW doesnt have anything new coming out that I know of. Anyways keep doing what your doing!
