That must be one hell of a inlet! I grew up using the Palm Beach & Jupiter Inlets, but watching these 50’ sleek cruisers getting tossed around like corks is just amazing! This is just a NASTY INLET! I really wish I still had my boat! I’d love to give it a try! I’ve got over 50 years experience with boats. My family grew up on the water, NPB,FLORIDA, 200’ wide canal, no fixed bridges, and Dad got the first boat in 1968, and it’s been a lot of fun!

I’m not a boating expert, in fact I just got into boats recently, but wouldn’t it make sense to go full speed over the waves to reduce the haul over effect?
@majorsynthqed73743 жыл бұрын
You never want an outboard running out of the water even for a second, and that is what would happen if you tried going over those waves at speed. Best to get it on plane and keep it there if possible. Easier said than done in those conditions.

I can almost see being out maybe fishing or cruising overnight and then dealing with these conditions coming in, but to go out in these conditions is crazy. Taking a first timer out on your boat in these conditions and it might turn them off completely to boating.
