Is JCB sending you 5 of those tool chests for your next giveaway? 😂😂

haha I would love that!

Just worth pointing out for people trying to go into second hand market, Snap On warranty only extends to the original customer and can not be transferred or assigned.
@adrianskelton739912 сағат бұрын
I don't have space for a tool chest like those, if i did, i can't imagine I'd be looking to pay that much more for the Snap-on one. The JCB one seems as though it's good enough quality to last a decent amount of time!

Snap on is nowhere near that much new off the truck. Mine was 2.8k for the exact same box

I've never heard of JCB tools because I live in South Africa and we don't have some of the tools you may have an England but yeah and their toes look very high quality

Big fan of JCB, I wish the range of hand tools were available in Australia. I don't know what I'd do without my telehandler, and that box has really good features I'd like

I’ve had a few JCB tools and various bits of workwear over the years and none have ever let me down. Them batteries look very similar to the Parkside.

Greetings from Dundalk, Ireland. Do i win??? Did you know that JCB holds three world speed records? They have the world’s fastest diesel-powered car, which reached 350 mph in 2006, the world’s fastest backhoe loader at 72 mph in 2014, and the world’s fastest tractor, which hit 135 mph in 2019...

I didn't know that jcb makes tools... I live far far away... here in the 3rd that brand is known by making premium heavy construction machines (yellow kind)... Every day you learn... Nice toolbox by the way...

Nice "deliberate" mistake on the claw hammer depth. Do we know if JCB power tools are still made by Alba? Not the best. They seem to have upped their game recently with hand tools, hopefully they have done the same with power tools.

JCB prices seem reasonable !! Never knew they did so much on the tool line. Thought they were more plant machinery and safety workwear.

I don't have any JCB tools but the quality looks very good I will keep my eye open for some to find out first hand , I am like you I like my sockets on a rail then you can take the hole lot with you if you need , keep the videos coming loving them

Hi. Grate vid. The snap on box isn’t life time guarantee. The runners and furnishings might be but I don’t think so. The steel certainly isn’t in the cheaper model like you have there are prone to rust. Snap On make great boxes. That truly is the base model though. In 2007 i picked that box up new for £900 on a deal so do speak to your local guy. Also the heritage is actually made from thicker steel and as a much more quality box price would reflect that. Love the videos and keep up the good work.

The JCB screwdrivers ain't to bad had a set of them for years but only use them for light work. For the heavy work still use a set of old britool made before Stanley brought them an facom

Great video JCB have come a long way with their tools,the boxes are nice but if you put a limited edition Aston Martin boxes next to it you,will be surprised with the details on it 👍👍

Love the design of the JCB roll cab! I can see the benefit to the socket rails, but I would put all of them on rails if I was going to have it like that in a set. Or a portable kit on rails and a workshop kit off rails
@robt215128 минут бұрын
These tool chests are fine if the work comes to you but if you go to the work then the original carry cases are more practical.

That JCB box looks like great, currently looking at options for a roll cab to use for all my tools (Guitar/instrument specific tools, electronic/tech tools and then all my power tools, with also probably a drawer just dedicated to all my pliers)

Similar size/configuration from ICON (Harbor Freight) will hit you for around $3,800 with free delivery. Or if you have a good relationship with your Cornwell dealer you can swing a 140" Platinum Plus for $21K.

I’m pretty sure Lance’s only fan in F1 is Lawrence 😅 The 12v drill and driver look like a great shape and size. So many of the smaller ones, like the Milwaukee set I have for instance, are really awkwardly shaped

The tool box is brilliant. Your spot on that the top part is used as a dumping ground for a lot of us and I am guilty of dragging my box about with the lid open. The lip stops the well placed parts from falling off….

I am only 40 seconds in and I can tell already: no, jcb did not beat snap-on, I own same 40 inch snapon box since 2005, use it daily and it is just as good as when it left factory. Had one set of drawer sliders replaced under life time warranty, try this with jcb after 18 years.. That being said, built in workbench of jcb box is a great idea. 👍👍👍👍👍👍

Bit more industrial tool set than I use as an IT engineer. Lots of ideas though for various curver boxes I have with tools and components loose inside that definitely could do with organizing. Only question for the video and for my setup is there a way to mark or label up the smaller items like the watchmaker drivers and the socket set and bits. Save having to take each bit out to rotate and find the size needed?

@Imshrekstwinbro16 сағат бұрын
As much as i do like the roll cabs my gosh they are expensive!! I mean i *may* pay a bit more for Alosno branded and the fact they are limited edition makes it intersting too. I just cant justify the costs. Thats just me though, i can see if yoy were a mechanic you would want somewhere to keep all your tools safe.
@AlanHorsburgh-y6o16 сағат бұрын
Another great video. A lot of the new tool chests I see these days are made of thinner metal than older ones. I've not seen any Snap On ones for years so would be interested to know if modern Snap On chests were made of thin or thick metal. As regards JCB tools I've always found them to be a bit expensive compared to other good brands.
