I purchase 6 lbs ground Chuck . I fry it up. I separate this into 1 lb portions and freeze for meal recipes. I do not strain the meat because I want the moisture in the meat . I can drain it when I’m going to use it. This saves prep time in my cooking and prepping for a meal. I love the mission carb balance torts. Anytime I can omit carbs I do.

I like to buy the big five or 6 pound ground beef and cook it up the same way, I separated out and sometimes I will separate one out with taco seasoning in it so the kids have a quick meal that’s ready to go if I’m not home, but I absolutely love this idea, I never thought not to strain it, thanks for that

Show us that indoor garden please. I’m interested in having that . I took a big lettuce leaf and wrapped it around finished burrito like a crisp lettuce wrap. Didn’t have to open my burrito and disturb my filling. Also if meat is hot you don’t have to worry about heating through. The hot meat will melt any cheese inside. Just toast it , done and has grill marks and crunch. My prep for the meat balls is . I made a nice amount of the sauce I canned it in pint jars . But I also froze a few bags of the sauce to just dump frozen in my crock. On top of my frozen meat balls. . I made up the meat balls , froze them individually on a cookie sheet then put them in freezer gallon bags to use in this recipe. I could take out as many meat balls as I needed. Love your recipes. I make them my own with my prepping ideas. Thank you. So glad I found you at 4 am this morning.❤

I really like your recipes. So sensible and achievable- and adaptable! I never seem to remember to add oil before browning the minced meat, I use the fat that leeches to brown the garlic and onion that I add. I so enjoy watching recipes from other countries, it expands one’s repertoire and after more than 35 years of family meals, it really helps. Thank you ❤
@FeedingtheByrds3 ай бұрын
Thank you so much for the kind words! You honestly probably don't need the oil for browning the meat because there's probably enough fat in it anyway. Thank you so much for supporting my channel.

Why don’t you use corn tostadas? Wouldn’t they stay more crispy and easier than frying corn tortillas? I also want to say, I have had cheese frozen and forgot it. I ate it out of the freezer, cut off what I need and shred it. I have the same shredding device you and many others have. It works swimmingly, with frozen cheese. Just a suggestion. 💕🙏🙏

I meal prep by cooking 3-5 # ground beef in my dutch oven and I season half with taco season and the other half I add just a bit of onion and garlic then freeze in zippered bags ... I always have quick fix meals by just adding pasta or whatever else I need or simply making tacos.

I never season my ground beef until I get the excess grease and liquid out of the pan because you’re defeating the purpose seasoning it before if you think you’ll need to remove excess fat and liquid from it.

I had a Bella pizza maker that the lid opened up flat and can no longer find it . I melted my older Bella. Put it on my stove and turned stove burner on instead of plugging in Bella. I’m unhappy over it but I did find one in a different brand. But I want my Bella back. 😢

Omg I DO NOT LIKE KETCHUP. Long story short.my mom left us when I was 8. We spent a lot of time at my grandparents house. We ate spaghetti a lot. One time my pop pop did not have sauce.He substituted ketchup 🤮. I had to hide mine and my brothers dinner in the trash.
