As for whether that means that it's gacha or some other kind of microtransactions is not confirmed however. Most likely it's gacha because that's the most obvious thing to assume but we'll see.

Thank you very much for compiling this information as the trailer that came out last week kind of confused me as to what this game was supposed to be. However, I do think it's funny that you refused to acknowledge the major "inspiration" for this games featured movement. The swinging was ripped directly from the Spider-Man games and the snippet of stealth we saw also looks ripped from those games too!

I touched on this in a reply to another comment. It's more a case of the lead producer playing the mentioned games / movies as a kid, and it inspired them to make the game. The Prototype games did remind him of Venom though, so there is some crossover. Here's what I wrote before: "That's because Spiderman wasn't mentioned as a direct inspiration for the game itself. When questioned about Spiderman, the developers said they just wanted to add a way for players to quickly move around the map, and grappling / swinging was one of those methods. I'm sure they would have looked at Spiderman for inspiration for swinging though, since it's the game that does it best, and there's no denying the animations look very similar. The stealth aspect is pretty universal though, it's been done like that in many games and there aren't many ways to be unique with crouching on a plank."

I feel like gacha would be the safest bet if they want profit, but maybe they could make it the most generous one out there, that would incentivice players to play and/or spend more, maybe make it possible to get the characters by grinding and without pulling, making it just an option, there will always be those that can't wait and would buy the characters right away, now that would mean they probably wouldn't get updates as quickly as other gacha games, but that could be fixed by having a lot.of content at launch, altho that means a lot of investment, and maybe very small updates every now and then with big updates separated by many months, like how they plan to have a new city every year.

I was sold on the part where there won't be stamina limitations for traveling. That's the main thing I hate about open world gacha games. Its so annoying and takes the fun out of exploration when you have to worry about stamina. It's not hurting anyone to allow us to swing around as much as we want. This is so peak, just a problem though. I sure do hope it won't only have female introduced playable character, but male also. It will feel so pale and empty to play such an amazing upcoming game without no males playable character in it. I could imagine setting up as a male mc and feel none bromance at all in a game that have freedom. From the story description, It seems like they took the plotline from the anime called Charlotte and made it into a video game. I don't really see much of this game being a GTA clone and this description seem to only come from casual who only point of reference to anime is DBZ, Persona, or Genshin Impact.

The story could very similar to charlotte (I also watched it years ago), but just keep in mind they're referring to more than just the story. I mentioned in the video that they wanted a similar feel to GTA but without the crime / mature themes. Think more along the lines of gameplay and city exploration.

I get where you're coming from lol. They probably wanted to use the series that is most known for having a seamless open world set within a city as a foundation, when making their own open world city game. With similar actions like taking over people's cars etc. Think of it like GTA, but you're playing from the perspective of the police, rather than the criminals (Sleeping dogs was similar, but the themes were still crime/mature instead of supernatural). In Persona it's still set within a city, but it's broken up into small hub areas. The gameplay focuses more on balancing your social / secret life while following a calendar schedule, rather than just freely roaming a city and doing whatever you want. If that makes sense.

Ah yes the classic Cliche, main character has amnesia and is someone special, Genshin did it, star rail and wuthering waves did it, Hi3rd also did it but Kiana didn't have Amnesia but was considered a special valkyrie, Infiniti nikki and PGR among the heavy hitters are the only one's who did not follow this cliche trend. Would have been so much better if the game had a more gritty, dark and cyberpunk aesthetic to it, i don't know about other gamers but i am sick of Colorful and happy aesthetics in open' world gacha games, Wuthering Waves and PGR are the only one that is a bit different when it comes to the story and the world, because its apocalyptic, Imagine Ananta having the Prototype atmosphere but with upgraded visuals of Unreal Engine 5 or whatever Graphic Engine they are using, its would look good since the game has creatures they defy the rules of nature and are somewhat supernatural and paranormal
