Well um... actually only teenagers have real freinds lol. After you become an adult, well... like 95% of adults have no friends lol. Or have friends they met when they were younger. Like "driends" at work? Forget it. Noone cares. And adults practically never attempt to meet new people. It is just very cringy, cause when you are an adult, there are no "real friendships" anymore. There are "deals", awkward chats lmao. No time or need or time for friendship when 99% of your adult life is work and family lol.

If you feel alone with them or you feel exhausted those are not your friends! They are weighing you down. Don’t be afraid to explain how you feel to them and distance yourself until you meet the right people who make you happy and make you feel fulfilled when your around them!

Im stuck in that exact situation , except i have like actually no friends , one group of girls made me hurt myself physically and mentally , then another group of girls planned to make my last week at my old highschool hell. Im going into my new school in like a week , and its the most scary thing for me. I have MAYJOR social anxiety and anxiety itself because of my past friendships , where im going wont be exactly easy because im going to a school that doesnt speak english. It scares me to know if i will make friends or not. i wish this could hit me the way it does others. i've spent every waking moment of my life learning this and eventually it just circled back around? i will not make friends on my own. if i don't learn to speak first and to speak in a personable manner then i will never make friends. i value friendship above anything else. sure, i'm growing more independent, but every time i go out and do something i end up crying because i just can't enjoy my own company anymore. my brain is loud and overwhelming and focused, but never about the right things. the only natural form of communication i have is through a keyboard. i've spent so much time trying to rid myself of social anxiety that i forgot to address the heavy shame at its foundation, and in trying to remove this, i've somehow made it worse? because now i know it's there and i know it's the problem but i have no idea what to do with it. regardless, this is a great video and i'm glad you've found such solace :D

Anxiety is something that everyone will deal with at least once in their lives and I can promise you that it will get better (I know how annoying that is to hear it all the time is tiring but it is true). I’ve been through my fair share of almost exact copy experiences of what you just said and described. It wasn’t easy but anxiety of any sort is very hard and scary to handle and end but it’s not impossible, remember that!

it definitely took a lot for me to be comfortable with myself and my aloneness, but i think as long as you keep in touch with yourself, your beliefs, and keep being social with your surroundings and not self-isolate harmfully then it is 100% okay! i am so comfortable now and happy spending my 30 minute lunch break reading a book or doing homework. i dont blame myself or criticize myself much anymore and instead afford myself peace :).

@@thewewguy8t88 Look at what whinnie did in high school. If you have solitude life, it means you have time to study. Once you are in college, that solitude life gives you plenty of chance to keep up with studying. Especially those with full time schedule in college, they barely have time to hang out. Once you are a college student, you are built to become independent. If you don't learn to get an independent mindset, you will feel homesick in your mind. All this time in high school, this alone time was meant to prepare you for college. After all, college is never about having social life. It is about studying because your primary goal is gaining your educational achievements. Being ok with solitude life is what prepares you for college.

I do have friends but when we were in the same class I realised I would be left out and it was the 3 of us and the others were in different classes and whenever when we had to pick partners they always chose each other and I was always alone. And I noticed whenever I didn’t speak first in conversations they wouldn’t talk to me or include me. And summer made me realise the difference between real friends and school friends. Most of my friends would say were best friends but when another person would ask them they would always say another person and their actions shows I’m not their best friend so I’ve been feeling lonely since I started middle school to now

Can I vent? So last shool year, I was happy. The school I attended since 3rd grade until 10th grade is the same school. It is very small. I won't include elementary but highschool after pandemic is my 9th and 10th grade. 11th grade we all transferred schools because our school cannot handle the 11th grade (Context: It's not a rich school and 11th grade is senior highschool, Philippines Education System). My 11th Grade is a University, one of the biggest or prestigious University in the Philippines. I got culture shocked, from a small school, to one of the biggest University. I missed orientations because me and ny mother forgot to check or email. At my 1st day, I lost sections. 2nd day is better, but it's bad. Not because of the education, we're still in subject orientations. As I was saying, I got culture shocked. I'm used of seeing the same friends, now It's hard making friends at a new school when I don't know how to make one considering the environment I made from. When I tried to talk it's just a question. Then they go back to their circle of friends. Needless to say I cried behind my parent's back. It's my Mom's dream to have her children study in a great University. And I'm okay with that. But I just can't survive by education alone. I'm bery extroverted but I don't know how to approach them. Especially they're rich and my parents crawled just for me to get here. They're smart and the conversations they have are oure academis and I'm having a hard time to keep up because I'm not that smart. I forgot all my lessons while they seem to remember all of it from last school year. I'm crying right now because I'm scared of the changes. I'm not used to it. It's like a first grader going to college. I don't know what to do. I'm crying. I'm crying. What if I don't make friends? What if I cry everyday?

Omg I'm going through the exact same thing and have been ever since covid started. I've been online since the pandemic and all of my friendships slowly died down. We grew up, found new interests and new friends. We only check in on each other during holidays and that's it. My phone is drier than the sahrah dessert. The only person that I talk to is only my dad, Auntie, and my mom. But I'm glad that I've had so much time for myself. I've been in a time where I thought I had to fit in. During that I found my faith in Jesus and focused on him and bettered myself. Haven't been happier since. Covid was tough but there was a purpose for it. I learned so much and I'm so thankful! Being alone is not a bad thing. It let's you figure out who you are and your friends and perfect love will come with time like you said!

I had many highschool friends growing up, but its been 12 years since I dont even talk to any of them now. I have hit up a couple the past few years but we lost touch again due to life circumstances. Even my bestfriend who I known since we were 13, I havent seen him almost 3 years and its kind of sad, but its understandable. Simply put it this way it's all apart of life. Everyone is just too busy with their lives. You can only make room for friend for people who are willing to make time for you. For me most of my friends I know are completely online now, I have come to terms that friends come and go. Just live life the best you can. The ones that really care about you will ask call/text you how your day is. Most people cant even send out text cause some fear that they might be a burden to you. Some other people just dont care, and some just needs to be reached out.

I'm 23 and my entire 4 years of high school, i had no friends, i actually didn't stay in the lunchroom. I stayed in one of my favorite teachers rooms which had fewer people but only lasted 1 year, and soon i was back to being in my phone lonely in the lunchroom waiting for lunch to end since it felt painful being there. That's what i remember. I did have friends but they weren't really mt friends Becuase all they asked were favors from me. What hurts me the most is seeing those so called "friends" going out to parties, parks, to fun places and you weren't invited, shows how fake everyone was during those days 😢. Now that im studying in college, it's a lot more flexible and i have a little more freedom since i choose my classes but still no friends either, i guess im one of those people who can't have a close friendship. I haven't gave up, i think i will find my people sooner in life. Yeah as you get older, life becomes more lonely and painful and sometimes boring. Sorry to be blunt but that is my experience. 😅

I had no friends and spent a lot of time alone as a teenager too. Now I'm 31 and still don't have friends. I'm still hoping I can meet people, though. You really should try to find ways to make friends. School clubs and other social activities for teens are great ways to meet others. Don't wait until you are older to meet people. The older you get, the more difficult it is.

This video made me cry, I expect in the period of Covid-19 that I became a little isolated from people, but when I returned to school, I became have friends and everything was good, but I was worried and completely distrusted towards my friends because of a toxic relationship, and after almost two years I left my friends because I felt that it was only a relationship of interest and I knew that I was only a friend with them because I do not want to be alone. And then I couldn't or didn't see the right friend for me and I feel very lonely. I'm a social person and I want to talk to people and be a friend with them. I really like it. But now I don't have a real friend and my relationship is superficial with everyone and I feel that no one understands me or has the same thoughts. I hate to sit alone or do anything alone and other people talk to their friends and laugh.

This video made you cry but it should also occur to you that this video is educational to you. There are times that valuable lessons you learn does not always mean a happy lesson. What that meant is this video just teaches you to love yourself. Think about this. If others sense you don't love yourself, they don't take you seriously. So don't be in a rush to get out of solitude life. If you make friends just to get out of solitude life in a hurry, this enables them to take advantage of you. They can manipulate you into being their doormat. When you make new friends, it is all about making a good impression. Same rules will apply when you go to a job interview. They won't take you in because you feel lonely. You have to name what value you have and know what you can bring to the table. Before making friends, the 1st step is loving solitude life. After all, there is no cutting corners of making new friends. If you cut corners in making friends, this enables them to mistreat you. See how she demonstrate in her video on how she gets used to solitude life? You got to do the same. You don't want to make friends in a rush just to get out of solitude life in a hurry. That will make them become your fake friends which is not something you want. Even if there are no covid, you still learn to enjoy solitude life once you become a college student. After all, going to college means you are trained to be independent. Lots of students especially full time students uses their solitude time to pass their classes. When you have workloads of hw, you will defend your solitude life more then social life. How you fit in at college is to have solitude life. If good friends come by, then great. If not, focus on studying. At the end of the day, primary goal in college is educational achievements.

I have friends but they live far away. I am also home schooled so I can't make friends anyways. After everything you said in your video and your past experience in high school, you were already prepared for college. I mean being in college is all about dealing with independent life anyways. If you have 0 friends, nobody tells you what to do. They cannot take advantage of your time and you don't deal with appointments of hanging out. You have all the time in the world to study when you have solitude life. You had that life in high school which meant if you have that same solitude life in college, you don't worry about anything else in the world other then studying. More college students walk in campus alone so if you are one of them, you fit in. If you wanted to be a full time student, you will barely have time to hang out. 3:30. That can also be an example of a college student's life too.

Hii, I started grade 8 this year and it's online, yay (how fun right😭) I'm honestly a shy person, so this year I stepped out of my comfort zone and actually made friends......but i couldn't keep those friends, so i tried and tried but i just gave up. The last time i spoke to anyone or even texted anyone was around march of this year. I don't even have in school friends, or friends to text/hangout with. The worst thing is I have tried to open up about how I feel to my family. But they either think i'm joking or faking it and they even make fun of me, so It's hard. On top of that before online school I used to have perfect grades but now my grades are just awful, it's sad because my mom doesn't like disappointments. So, there is a lot of pressure...

As you get older, changing schools will become your norm. To give an example, what if you started out in a community college? When you earn transfer credit, you change to another school and then you go to a university. When you become an adult, your future will be more important then social life.

I relate to this so much and kind of always have. My best friend well now ex-best friend of 9 years ditched me 2 years ago and i kinda haven't had anybody as close to me since. I always think that people will talk first and text me first but never do lol. I'm sick of being the one that does that and lately been feeling like maybe it's okay that I'm alone for a little bit longer. I definitely want to be your friend :D

Im starting 9th grade and going to a new school and i was thinking of being a loner becus ive never had any real friends and ive always been just a floater but this helps me so much i was so scared i was gunna be seen as weird and just never make real friends but ur so motivative 😭🫶
