Sir what is the difference between subacromial impingement and internal impingement
@MusaMindset5 жыл бұрын
Didn't you post this test 4 years ago? I'm assuming that you guys reuploaded in order to include the se/sp and the relevant scientific article and clinical value.

You’re absolutely right Also four years ago our videos weren’t as standardized and up to the quality that we aspire to have

1:18 I think it is shoulder 'abduction' not flexion
@OnePunchMedic Жыл бұрын
Nope that is flexion, abduction would be away from the body laterally
@mayanksingla3244 Жыл бұрын
Yeah you are right, his chest and back are so huge, I literally thought it's abduction😂😂, yes it's flexion. With abduction he would have looked way more broader. Omg why do they show such sexy men, I just literally cannot concentrate 😋😋😋

What is your opinion regarding doing Hawkins- Kennedy at different planes i.e. abducted 90, scapular plane and forward flexion 90?
@Physiotutors5 жыл бұрын
We try to stick to the original description. Biomechanically, the test was designed to drive the tuberculum major against the roof of the acromion. In the abducted position the humerus is doing a spin movement only and not a rol-glide like in flexion, so it becomes a different movement in the GH joint

When my shoulder is in 90 deg forward flexion(arm straight) and if I then internally rotate the humerus and adduct the arm across the torso to the opposite shoulder, I get posterior shoulder pain(back of the the shoulder, above the armpit). What does that mean? Anatomical drawings show that teres minor and major are roughly in that area... and it also is causing pain in vertical pushing movements, but not in horizontal ones...and there was no acute trauma or accident... What muscle and what type of muscle pathology is this? :(
@coldfingers59153 жыл бұрын
Actually, even just abducting the arm 90 deg straight out to the side and then internally rotating the arm also causes pain in the same area...

Can anyone help me and tell me what could be the problem of my shoulder?? Well the pain in my right shoulder comes and goes. It feels like there is something rubbing or grinding inside, and like my shoulder is not in the right place. When I do the hawkins kennedy test I will hear a click/pop in my shoulder and that is what gets rid of the pain, and I feel like my shoulder is in the right place again. Then after a few minutes of sitting or lying down, the pain is there again so I’ll just click it again using the hawkins kennedy test.
