Haylage June 2018, Tedding with a LELY LOTUS

With mowing completed yesterday (Saturday) and the baler and wrapper arriving on Tuesday, we need to get the grass spun over at least once to even out the moisture levels. Our Lely Lotus is the ideal size machine for us, big enough to get the job done quickly, small enough to weave in and out of the twisty turny bits.

Andrew Pegg Nort Norfolk, I think the country folk still outnumber the urbanites up there don’t they? Been past it a few times visiting family in Grimsby but never wandered Eastward enough to really taste the place.

If you move the tines on the clip thing on the roter on the hedge side it will throw the grass inward rather then into the hedge just remember to turn them back for second time round so it throws it back again 👍

Adam Walton You are quite right Adam, I totally forgot to do it. I was too busy trying to be a clever bugger on camera, instead of having my head 100% on the job. In my defence, I didn’t forget again 😄
