it was confirmed in a question to Amanda Overton that what Viktor sees as Sky is actually his humanity that he gives up to acend and Sky tells him that "he won't miss her" because Viktor is giving up his emotions, so he won't be able to miss anyone. So, great intuition, congratulations

This though. Everyone has such an unhealthy relationship with sexuality. It's beautiful, emotional, IT FEELS GOOD. And Caitlyn and Vi needed that because of the shit storm they were in. And thank you for seeing the humanity in Ambessa, no one is ever a villain. It's actually more like Viktor said Passion and Hatred driving humanity forward, two sides of the same coin.

My best understanding for Jayce's attack in episode 6 is based on what Viktor said earlier to Singed and Ambessa. That the damage wasn't enough to kill Viktor but it has weakened him to the point that he physically cannot reach the hexgate and the anomaly without their help and several days of recovery time

The problem is that in episode 9, Viktor doesn't seem weak at all. And he could have used his robot army. The whole Noxus vs Piltover battle feels pointless.

@martino1571 Like I said, he was too weak to do any of that... until he got help from Singed and Ambessa. He didn't have the strength to take on that new form or create his army until he made a deal with them so Singed would heal him in exchange for Viktor evolving Ambessa's soldiers after the battle is over [SPOILERS FOR EPISODE 9 BELOW] If you're talking about why the Noxus soldiers didn't just sit in their boats and let the evolved guys take over the city though? I think it was two things: First, there just weren't enough of them, so Jayce would have had tons of backup at the hexgate if the Noxians weren't distracting everybody. And second, Viktor refused to hurt anybody with his own hands None of the machines under Viktor's control actually harmed a single person (other than Ekko getting clotheslined that one time, but I think that may have just been an attempt to catch him moving at high speed). They just grabbed them and froze them in place until Viktor could complete his plan, and there just weren't enough of them to grab every member of the enforcers. They would get surrounded and taken out if they didn't start hurting/killing people. So Viktor decided the better option was to technically keep his own hands clean and let that unenlightened Ambessa lady do the violence instead if it was absolutely necessary

I just think Vi and Caitlyn's scene together is so damn beautiful by itself. Arcane had its fair share of pacing problems this season and these two did get affected by it but man if that scene wasn't animated so well. You can just feell how much they love each other and how long they've waited for it. Pure joy

There was so much about the Cait/Vi scene to love…. How Cait was going to be honest and tell her she was with someone else….and Vi giving ZERO fucks because she has her cupcake back. Then Cait is the one who rips her shirt off in front of Vi very aggressively, but then is soft and gentle undoing Vi’s wrapping…and is then CONTINUALLY gentle with her. Gently caressing her, touching her, giggling with her in pure joy because she is FINALLY with who she truly WANTS to be with. And Vi…alternating between being very aggressive with Cait, and then being very gentle with her. Showing Cait that it has basically been her….ALWAYS. Just such a perfect love story for these two. People said that they actually did it in season 1 at some point, but this scene right here is almost irrefutable proof that THIS is their first time. The gentle touches, the way that they look at each others bodies, the happy giggle when fumbling to get undressed....just all so PERFECT!!!! It wasn't about sex...it was about love, trust, letting go, giving in, and intimacy...all the things they NEEDED in that moment with each other, knowing what was about to come. So happy I got my Violyn back.

Honestly to me he's always felt like he's just going with the flow of everyone around him, not actively choosing routes that are the most evil. The villains use his ingenuity for their own gain, with significant leverage, but if he were left to his own devices he'd probably just be in his lab/cave forever experimenting on animals. He doesn't have the ambition of say, professor Hojo.

I'm not sure if its confirmed anywhere about Viktor, but the 'wolf' symbolism (Ambessa's calling people fox or wolf; any wolf maw imagery; and imo Viktor's wolf like face) is reference to Kindred, the "Grim Reaper" of Leagues universe. In which the Lamb (fox in some cultures) is the merciful, calm, and emotionless one, while the wolf (most venerated in Noxus) is the violent emotional one. They are supposed to represent peaceful vs struggling death.
