We LOVE this place! Went there a couple months ago while visiting friends in Wimberly. WOW! Great Food, Big Burgers, lots of it, and some of the best chips and salsa's we ever had. The onion rings were also big and delicious. We'll be back for sure. If in the area, I'd recommend coming early if you can because they get busy and a waiting line, but it's well worth the wait. We got there around 11am on a Saturday and no line but when we left, the line was already started. Everyone we talked with LOVES Hays City Store. Highly recommend.

Great place at the midpoint between Kyle and Wimberley! And a stone's throw away from great wineries and breweries and the Salt Lick!

If I could eat gluten I’d love to go and eat the onion rings. I’ve driven past several times and it always looks like a fun place.
