Nice video. I don't know what it is but I love cutting grass and now after watching you I realize I like watching other people cutting grass too. Cheers

going to be going out this week doing a lot of the smaller gardens and letting them know its the last cut.needing to free up some time to catch up on the bigger gardens were there work all year round unless we get some snow.nice little hayter always thought you were an Honda man.very best wishes.

caroline camp I've used the Hayter for most of this season, I've enjoyed using something different for a change. I still love my Hondas though, thanks for watching mate, glad you're busy.

You make a good point about the fruit trees this time of year. Worth checking with clients at the outset whether they expect you to clear before you cut, as this can add extra time to jobs and multiply that over lots of clients and things could get tricky. Picking up rotton, wasp ridden apples is never fun! Great video and good advice as always!
@uklawncare85057 жыл бұрын
West Country Garden Pro this time it's either apples from the trees or leaves, both add time to the job, and yes the wasps don't help either. Thanks for watching mate hope you're busy.

Have you seen any of the new stihl battery gear in action? A tree surgeon I know has the long reach cutter and blower the noise difference is amazing and will cut anything the Petrol can.

Another good one Curtis, wow you guys have had a wet season, the opposite to our winter. It's either too wet or too dry.
@uklawncare85057 жыл бұрын
MOWTOWN we had a really dry spell from the spring to about mid summer, since then it's been pretty miserable and wet, I hope you get some rain sooner or later mate, nothing worse then cutting dust. Thanks for watching Martyn.

....I usually push on to about bonfire night with the mowing but can continue for another week or two if it stays mild. I then shut down for the winter until mid-March when I start up again. If the weather stays mild, I am able to do a pre-Xmas mowing for just a select few but only if there has been some growth and I am not out in the freezing cold! Stay good!

Greg AVFC 69/70 Jones I'll be fully into leaf clearing soon, I still use the mowers up until Xmas but it's more for collecting the leaves then cutting the grass, thanks for watching mate.

Watch all your videos however, one tip is not to overlap the wheel too much per stripe as the deck is already small and by doing this your making the stripes smaller and uneven and don't look as good. Just some feedback.

Dean Kennedy this is a habit I have, I like to over lap my wheels when I use my Honda 537, it's difficult to change when I go over to the Hayter. Thanks for watching mate.

Hi. Thanks for getting back to me. I am thinking of entering into the lawn care or lawn maintenance business. I return home to England after being posted in the Middle East for many years. I have done some studying in lawn care and want to know if it is a business entering into. I will be live Shropshire. Thanks. Darren.

Sorry. I just don’t agree. I bought a Hayter 41. And it was so bad in the wet, I had to send it back. It clogs almost instantly. For a £900 machine, that just isn’t good enough. I bought a Stihl RM 545 VR Variable Speed Roller Petrol Lawnmower, instead. It is absolutely brilliant. I will never buy a Hayter again. Totally, overhyped lawnmower.
