You do the best GI Joe toy reviews. Very detailed info. Thanks for bringing back some great memories

I have Rock ‘N Roll on my RAM, but then again I don’t own a Breaker figure yet. My only complaint with the RAM is how loose that kickstand tends to be. I kind of wish they had engineered it to lock-in place a little better. Still one of my all time favorite GI Joe vehicles, though.

This is an awesome review of the G.I. Joe Ram. I'm definitely getting one for my collection.

Enjoying your reviews! I really like the vintage television commercials at the end of the videos. Nice touch!

Thanks! I recently started including the commercials at the end of the videos when I can find them. There are a few items that I haven't been able to find commercials. Even though the commercials are part of the credits, they are kind of part of the review. You can see how the toys were marketed. I get a kick out of them.

A wonderful toy, and one of the first Joe toys I owned, getting it for Christmas in '82.

Loving catching up with these reviews! To be honest, since neither my daughter or I own a Breaker OR Rock and Roll... I have Gung HO on mine, and she has Alpine and Bazooka on hers...escaping Cobra.
@HCC7889 жыл бұрын
Thanks for watching. Gung Ho and Bazooka would be an interesting color contrast. Alpine... he may look really good on the RAM, with his color scheme. I'll have to give that a try.

a toy that i never had, but always wanted. one of the best, if not the best, smaller/budget vehicles for the joes. its simplicity actually makes it better. as for the driver...yeah let the dude with no guns drive it. Rock and Roll came packed as is.

I think Breaker is a great pick for a driver, so he can quickly get out of harm's way to call in for reinforcements before getting back into the fray.

I always put Stalker on it coz of the cartoon, but Breaker makes way more sense, given his lack of weapons and the box-art, too!

From what I heard years ago the R.A.M. letters initially stood for RAPID ASSAULT MOTORCYCLE. I don't know why they changed the letters meaning. I'll have to research the history behind that a little further.

I like Rock and Roll to stick with his M-60. Breaker has no weapons, let him ride the bike. This gives him his moment to really show he has guts when it really counts.

Question: Do you recommend restoring the gold and silver metallic paint? I know it's often times better to not restor antiquities. I have no plans of parting with my GI Joes, I've even willed to be burried with 'em (jk) only some. I just bought a complete RAM Cycle in near ment condition. Never owned one, always wanted one. I can't put it down!! Hit-n-looks sweet on it.

Shared on FB for you sir! Good to be a subscriber. I was out of Half the Battle Timmer episodes and FORMBX257 Episodes and found your channel. You give the most detail about the plastic toy itself! I love it! Keep up the good work.

I prefer Scarlett on the RAM. Just seems to work nicely.

The RAM cycle has stood the test of time. It was one of my first GI Joe vehicles I remember getting. I don't really have a preference about who drives RAM although it does make sense Breaker should drive it due to lack of weapons. I always paired Rock & Roll with the Whirlwind which was the first gun station I remember owning.
