I worked for tcs 7 years, worst organisation in india, no employee centric only profit is tcs goal, no hike, no free coffee/tea, no free bags, no carreer growth, switched off a/c at 6pm but employees need To work in night shifts without any Air conditioners, cheap organisation

The reason being BFSI is highly regulated and very hard to implement. Having implemented even a service implementation, I can say its one of the tough one and the money Indian financial industry is willing to spend is not good in work to reward ratio terms.

The Banks are moving towards SAAS based solution which is way better than creating all from scratch and maintaining it, I am working on a organization which provides SAAS to Banks and Financial institution. We have some of the top banks around the world including India as our customers. We now own multiple banks infra which are previously maintained top IT services companies in India and outside.

Banks with stringent regulatory requirements might still prefer in-house solutions for better control over data and customization. What's your thought on this?

@@karthikeyansn The Bank specific features and customizations can be done on our platform based on the requirements which is cost effective than giving it to Service based companies. We collaboratively work with banks for such custom requirement but most of features are standard across banks.

Yeah it's true but most SAAS don't really even reduce much effort especially with productivity increase from gen AI! Just stupid leadership making stupid decisions!

Hey, I come from similar background and recently became senior performance engineer in a L5 company. It really depends what profile you want to target in IT. If you are looking to move to coding the easiest place to start would be javascript. I chose devops and it was a long journey. So first decide what role you are targetting in it and then there is roadmap. Just letting you know that the more youtube videos you view to find solution more upset and confused you will be.😊

RPA is like a tool - low code no code kind of approach for automating a legacy process. GenAI related service can be done integration with RPA tools.

@@vijendrann1542 in my project, 5 are laid off...others, few of know colleagues, few people annual is on hold........laid off even though on project, and reason is TP, got annual perf 8.5 and they tagged to TP. This is the case with most of them......i was joined in Teams meeting for PF related session and i can see >250 people joined, with LWD as 31st may, how i know, the HR started the session saying since may 31st is last date for you...most of us made to paper write NDA, not to disclose this matter this with any one........and this mahashay says that 8080 are only restructured not laidoff....
