The tea was overflowing today! It was great. These two are so much fun. Sharing their perspective from the other side of heartbreak in such a vulnerable and honest way is more helpful to young people than any self-help book or parental lecture. Their example of genuine happiness and settling for nothing less gives hope to those without it. Kuddos to you both!

I love the way Katie said Josh is way hotter than the guys her friends show her. I have watched another KZbinr podcast where the wife is obsessed with a celebrity to the point where it seems she would rather be with him than her husband. Disrespectful and red flags. The respect you guys have for each is amazing. Great content!

Hi !! Love the podcast and everything about you two!! One piece of feedback is just that Katie talks loud and Josh talks really quiet so I have to keep adjusting my volume. Idk if you need to adjust the mics or edit somehow but that’s my only piece of criticism!! I’m sure you’re just getting used to everything here in the beginning and I mean this in the nicest way!!

This podcast meant everything to me these past 5 months I have felt betrayed and hurt. I lost one of my bffs, then school started and I got bullied and it was rough, then I just now found out that my other bff was dating my boyfriend. I also recently found out things about my mom that I wish I didn’t! Thanks Katie and Josh! This really touched me and a lot more people.

I’m literally in tears because I can relate to Katie’s story SO MUCH. I dated someone for 4 yrs and there was a lot of ups and downs where we both messed up. He graduated one year before me and we broke up when he left. I never thought I would get over this guy and I did after three years, it took a while but it was worth it. I finally moved on and I am now in a happy place in life with relationships.

The efficiency of this *usespy online is next level.* To juggle walk throughs of various angles on devices delivered to-camera, differnet content per app from various folks underneath the umbrella of the track list of the larger big band concert itself is engaging and refined access. To make a dense non tracable like this so digestible is really something. Awesome work !!!

I was in a very toxic relationship a few years ago. Like... he was a different type of toxic. Some may even consider him abusive. Everything he did was premeditated (meaning he planned it.) I finally got out of it, I learned so much and I healed. 2 years later, I found my Josh Brueckner as Katie would like to put it. Getting married next year

My ex cheated and lead me on for YEARS. When he broke up with me officially he tried to say we hadn't officially been together for years at that point - probably as a ploy to absolve himself of any guilt or wrongdoing and I think that's where I lost respect for him the most. If at any point he'd come to me and been like 'hey I'm sorry, I messed up' and taken responsibility for ANYTHING I probably wouldn't hold as much hostility towards him as I still do. I remember we used to fight over him talking to other girls and it'd always end with him just completely attacking me. I'd always say 'break up with me and I'll leave' but things would somehow get resolved. Idk how we had that same conversation so many times while apparently being broken up already, you'd think that would've come up at some point. I started developing feelings for someone else WHILE we were still together, but very close to the end and after being distant from one another for a long time. We hadn't been intimate at all in over a year, we'd been sleeping in separate bedrooms etc. I never did anything physical with this person while we were still together but I still feel bad when I look back on it because I ended up doing exactly what he'd been doing to me - hiding texts, lying about hanging out with them, etc. It made me feel like I was just as bad as he was, but it had gotten to a point where I knew there was no fixing the relationship - I was just too comfortable in the dysfunction to actually leave. I depended on him for a lot of things, was very close to his family, and the thought of having to start all over again with someone new terrified me. At this point, I was definitely just settling. I figured I would never actually do anything with this person, they were leaving the country soon anyway... it was just nice to feel WANTED by someone while still knowing I would (and could) never cross that line or actually 'go there' with them. Needless to say, when my ex made it clear to me we were really over I went out and pursued that relationship. 10/10 the best thing I've ever done for myself. I'd been so unhappy for so long I felt like I owed myself to take this jump and be happy even if I didn't think it'd last. Now we're doing the long distance thing. Sometimes I still get surprised by how good he treats me, because I'm just not used to it. But even though I technically didn't do anything, I still look back on certain things and feel guilty.

I admire Katie for saying her ex was toxic when he was just abusive. There was nothing toxic about the situation it was all abuse. My ex was a lot like that and he was majorly abusive! I also admire both of them for not wishing the cheaters bad because to me of you cheat your scum and deserve the worst. That can really mess someone up or cause someone to harm themselves. 100% agree on the clothes! Wear what you want but have respect for your SO

I think cheating has more to do with temptation. Theres a lot of it in the world. You just need self control. I also think its possible to love someone and cheat on them as well. If youre going to be in a relationship you have to be in a mindset where you want to be in one and youre going to commit. If you have any doubts about it just be single and hookup with whoever.

My 1st relationship was very toxic. He was mental and physical abuse and drunk did drugs cheated on me. I was so stupid I stayed with him for 7 years. When I decided to finally leave him . I wasnt sad because he pushed me to fall out of love with him... we didn't talk for 9 years after that. We talk now but there no feeling or anything. We did get married and we lost a child. It took me 2 years to finally talk to a guy a and I meet my husband now on Myspace. When we started talking. I told him no drinking drugs and if u ever physical abuse me I have a baseball bat with your name on it and u have to close your eyes sometimes. We need together 14 year dec 10and married 12 half years. He never ever put his hands on my and never cheated on me. We lost our 1st daughter together and we have 1 living daughter she 6 and our whole world. Sorry u guys got cheated on it hurts and sucks but u get over and u guys look so happy and a cute couple.

Congrats on the Podcast, guys! Hey. Katie - remember the old YouNow days? So a looong time ago back in probably 2015 or so, I jumped on YouNow to see how live streaming was, and that's when I really started to post on KZbin. I used YouNow to go on to help promote my KZbin channel with my son. Well, low and behold someone used to pop up in my nearby from Romeo (I'm in Sterling Heights)...and now look at ya! I thought I would share my story with ya's. Keep up the great work guys! You're crushing it! 😎👍
