Currently studying Linux through UMGC, have an AAS, work in a NOC, and have my Security+ certification. A little conflicted on which path to take, whether it's techtual, Symone B, or Josh. SMH

Do you think UMGC is a better route than WGU? I was thinking about transferring to WGU cuz they pay for the certs

@@414-Devo great question. I reached out to WGU before UMGC. Unbeknownst to me, two things were in my favor: 1. My job offers a reimbursement for employees. 2. UMGC accepted 70 credits from my Associate of Applied Science degree. Both options are excellent, but I want to take the route with the least financial burden, and for me, that was UMGC. I also just received my CompTIA Security + cert. So far so good at UMGC.

@@414-Devo I chose UMGC due to employee reimbursement from my job. I also received a student discount from CompTIA through UMGC. I paid $262 for Sec+ and passed 6 weeks ago.

You can succeed with any of these or none at all! I might just pick the one that looks the most fun and go hard on it and see what happens

It won't be on sale until around christmas, but I'm creating a community with some similar lab stuff. That should be released before September, and it will be cheaper :)
