My guy is such an angel/hero! He totally amazes me and impresses me constantly. I do craft shows and use various props for display. I showed him my thrift store "find", a mannequin torso, which was chipped and cracked. Before I could say anything, he right away said he wanted to take it and sand it and paint it and construct a stand for it. He was absolutely on fire with ideas to make it like new for me. This is just one example of many, and I mean many, ways that he shows me he wants to fix things and take care of me. He volunteers himself all the time, and it feels sooooo good! I don't even ask him, he must love me a lot.:) My ex was not like that at all!

I have noticed shifts in my partner's behavior at different points, like shortly after "the talk." Before, I knew there was no commitment, and I was okay with that because I wasn't looking for a marriage partner. Within a couple of weeks, he took me out to dinner, gave me a card, and put his arm around me for the first time. The following weekend, he gave me a bud vase of roses. I was so pleased, but in the back of my head, I'm thinking, "What happened to that can take you or leave you guy?" Jumping to the present, he's admitted he loves me and is very caring but has gone from seeing me a couple times a week to seeing me 6 out 7 days last week and wanting me to ride along with him when he plays golf. Today, he told me, "You know, you can still come over even if you don't feel good." I have arthritis in my knees and hate to keep him awake tossing and turning when I'm having bad nights. So another change that tells me he's more committed. Another thing I notice is that he is getting me little things when's he's out and thinks of me. Just be careful with the "we should go there" point, as it could be a sign of possible love bombing... I've gone out with a few guys that would say "let's go to xxx soon", "we should check out xxx next month", and they often don't match it with action or even remember that they said it to me later on.

Yes, the "future planer." To me that's the guy who does a hook-line-an-sinker. The "let me tell her what she wants but never intend on doing guy. Doug was like that. Always saying he wants "forever" with me, but wouldn't commit because he couldn't. None of his relationships before me worked because of this and the females he was with saw that an left him. I called him out on it and gave him a chance to make effort to actually do something and he couldn't so I moved on. You can't sit around and wait for a guy like that to put in his effort and actions. They either are going to or they are not, and we have lives to live and should wait for no one. ✌️

My ex husband used to say ILY multiple times a day but still went out with his mistress and later on his new wife. Therefore, I’m looking for other clues mentioned here that are more realistic, significant, and tangible like let me help yoi, we/ us, and others. I have been getting messages from a man that are non-verbal who happens to be my next-door neighbor and yet he’s too uncomfortable. It appears to talk with me lol I’m at a loss because I like him too so what we do is we wave to each other and smile, and that’s been going on for exactly one year now I’m starting to run out of ideas as to how to approach this person when everything between us says that we want to connect, but it seems like he’s afraid for some reason… I am out of ideas as to what to do to approach him… And iby the way, he has done so many things over the years but mainly this past year without saying a word to be protective of me and I don’t need to go into what those things are it’s just more than just neighborly support. Shall we say I can tell he’s protective of me, but he does it in a nonverbal way and add a distance I can just tell because it’s so obvious that this person likes me but I’m quite frustrated because I know that we both want to connect. I don’t know him well enough to understand what he is nervous about. Is there any suggestions on how I can help the process along?

I've been with my man for two months now. He's using all those phrases and he seems all in, but if feels too soon. What if the guy made the mistake of calling u by another girls name( he said is his friend and the girl is married) they haven’t met in person cause they met each other on tandem app for language. The thing is as woman is hard to let pass mistake like this and worst it happened before going to bed. We are in long distance rs. He said good night girls name and emojis. Even he said he was going to type it in her chat but typed on mine. Which at that time he was talking to me. He refuse to aknowledge he just made mistake in calling me by other girl name. He said that girl doesn’t mean anything for him. After that, he went cold feet to tell that is better friendhip now without exclusive even when he said he’s got feelings for me and doesn’t want to lose me as a person he has spend time with for so long time. He told me he really likes me and that he’s connected to me. He doesn’t want another woman or similar woman as his female friend. After he told me that. He said that is better we friends first without exclusive When before he asked me exclusive. We already had plans he even could see me in his future moving with him. Ok, so he told me often, that I'm beautiful , I'm precious, and sweet. He told me he loves me. He told his best friends about me. He told his Mom & Dad about me. His Mom said, ok, when are we gonna meet this wonderful lady? He sais, soon ! He jokingly said he'd have to marry me! He bought an expensive, hot pink life jacket, in anticipation of taking me fishing. He took me to the Lake and we went to the store and he bought me 4 pairs of Crocs, for going fishing. He took me bass fishing, at the lake, several times. He took me to a tackle shop and saw a hot pink hat and asked if I'd like it, bcuz it'd match my life jacket. While he & his friends discussed the storm that damaged his awning on the Camper, I was quiet & completely, off topic, he blurted out, telling his friends in front of me, that , " This woman is a wonderful woman, with a great heart and she's a Cajun" !!! 😳 I blushed a lot and said, softly, "Thank you, Baby!" ☺️ 😘 We returned to the camper and he jokingly said, "My Wife won't ever cook for me! as he looked straight into me eyes; he jokes all the time !!!! I said, in a sassy Cajun attitude, " Well, maybe if you let her, when she asks to cook for you, Your Wife would cook dinner for you! 😝 He laughed. We had so much fun, fishing because we both, love to fish. In the beginning, he asked me if I smoke or drink. My answer was never smoked & only a glass of Rose', once in a long while. He asked if I have/want pets. I said, no, I've had many and I just don't want the fur everywhere, anymore. He was elated! I was surprised. He said, that's great, you don't smoke, drink, or have pets !!! 😝 He said, I don't either ! 😁 FF to the 3rd fishing trip; he began to pull away, shortly after declaring in front of me, to his 2 friends, that I'm such a wonderful woman with a great heart ! Yep! He totally, pulled away! Then, 1 week later, he broke up, with me ! So, what am I to think? What am I, to do ? How am I supposed to handle this, when he still calls me, every 2-3 days ? 😳😲🥹🥹 We were so good together and we're enjoying each other, so very much !!! He admitted that he has had a really bad situation in the past, caught his fiancee cheating with his best friend and swore never to marry or fall in love. Help !

I'd tell him your truth ie that you really care for him and didn't want to break up. However you respect what he has told you about his past relationship and his decision to never marry. You, on the other hand, do wish to be married to a great guy in the future. Since he already knows that he will never marry, you need to move on with your life and be open to meeting and dating new people. The frequent phone calls need to stop as you aren't his girlfriend anymore. Tell him you will get in touch with him in a few months. In other words, say goodbye. I don't know what is going on with him but I do know that you and he are not on the same page. So cut him loose and find a better man who shares your life goals. Don't spend another minute letting this guy control the situation and hurt you. He just isn't the right man for you. He has told you who he is- believe him.
