Somewhere in the Solomon Islands, a giant gold mine was discovered in 1997. At the time, the locals had no idea how to properly mine gold... and now, about 3,000 people are making a VERY healthy living doing it.
From what I have seen today, digging for gold all day in this humidity (and heavy rain) is EXTREMELY difficult, but the best ones are making up to $3,000 a day. For all you math wizards, that's over 1 million dollars a year.

One thing I’ve learned about gold is that the processing and refining is where all the people die and get cancer. I noticed drew didn’t show the way these people refine and separate the gold they find, probably because it’s all done in the deadliest way possible and drew knew not to mess around with Mercury lol
