Bloke was right fullback covers a lot of ground and requires a lot of effort, literally last line of defence, more suited to super fit and fast guys

Gregg Inglis had a similar case, he also has a similar physic to Latrell. He was a bit lazy in defence at fullback when it came to covering ground on the ball. But difference was Inglis made it up in his offensive plays which needs no explanation.

Its his Natural build. He's an elite Centre. Dosen't have the Aerobic capacity to play Fullback. Elite Fullbacks are constantly in Motion, constantly talking to the Defence. Need to be super fit.

In my opinion he lets himself and his team mates and Souths fans 'down' every week. I feel he is unfit and has a nasty attitude problem. I feel many players are intimidated into remaining silent due to being labeled a racist. I don't care what colour he is or where he was born but when you wear our Red & Green you leave your ego at the door and give your all. But it seems management don't care about that as they have 'dropped' Damian Cook who would be one of our best tacklers and gives his all week in week out. Souths have broken my heart. ps LM isn't fit enough to play centre either.

Fullback generally is a higher paid position than a centre , latrell is more interested in his farm and not his teammates.. cheers

There's not many Finn Russel's in the NRL. I cant think of any, maybe Mahoney but I reckon he's got a 6-pack under the jersey. Completely different game so physiques will vary. Latrell is very overweight relative to the average NRL player. Even though he may play better at centre, if Souths move him there I feel another club will offer him fullback money. He's definitely not the worst FB currently going around.

Professionals are not always the most talented - they are the ones that try hard, keep fit and never give up...Latrell never had "the right stuff" like the Panthers players and when he left the Roosters I bet a lot of Easts fans were happy he left. Also, I hope he doesn't get picked for the NSW Blues...we'll lose if they pick him.

I wouldn't worry about Latrell, something is not right with him atm. Personally imho it looks like the fans are trying to bully him out of the game. Aussie rugby league fans are the not the nicest people tbh. They like to name call etc.. and they're sensitive about Aboriginals.

He's not up to NRL standards. His elbowing of Shaun J and dangerous lifting should've been enough to send him off the field. Fire him! He claims to be the "Best" fullback of the game? BS..you're the "WORST" fullback ever! Not only that you're dreaming but disillusioned/

He’s a centre never will be a full back too fat and lazy always out of position everybody knows it but Latrell never gives 100% for more then 10 minutes a game
