Y'know, pausing the video and looking at this guy's stats, I'm not too sure he'd do so well in a 1v1, either. Sure, he's got thousands of matches, but if you look at the ratio of air targets destroyed/respawns (essentially a metric of how many aircraft he shoots down every time he spawns in a particular vehicle), they're all around 2.00-3.00. Bf-109 F-4, 2.48 (4560/1836) Fw-190 A-8, 1.34 (420/313) Fw-190 A-4, 2.82 (3640/1287) Bf-109 F-4 (t), 2.02 (2567/1273) Hs.129 B-2, 2.01 (2362/1174) And those are just the first 5 aircraft that show up when you look at his stat card! Not to mention, BOTH of the 109 F-4 variants--the plane which he's *supposedly* such a dominant god with--have a lower K/R ratio than a Fw-190 (lol). For realistic battles, having a K/R around 2-3 would be a pretty decent number, but in Arcade Battles (where your opponents can respawn) I'd expect it to be higher for how skilled this guy claims to be with *those* aircraft in particular. If you want an example of how high I'd expect this guy's stats to be given how much trash he talks, refer to the gameplay footage in the background of this video. TL;DR: This guy's stats in Air AB suggest he's merely an average player in his preferred aircraft types, compared to Aoeilaeiepae's demonstrated dominance in the MiG-21(S) showing him what someone who's *actually* a skilled player in their machine can do. Well its important to remember that overall stats can be biased in both directions. Overall, I'm only 5-1 in a MiG-21S and 4-1 or so in the F-8 variants. I mean, yeah, I curbstomp people now, but I died a lot figuring out how to do that - this game has a learning curve after all, and all my deaths get counted. On the flip side, there are some players who just can't take a death statistic, so they run away from any fight that isn't a slam-dunk. There was one guy Imma make a future video about ... he friggin landed, J'd out on his air field, and left the game to avoid a death stat when I cornered him lolol. He had absurd K/D ratios in all his planes, but he wasn't very good.

The AIM-7C is the better missile, but the F3H-2 (which carries the AIM-7C) has worse radar. In practice, I get more utility out of an R-3R. Lotta room for hair-splitting in War Thunder.

Hey I know I’m late but here’s a tip for that fuel management, if you are going too speed, roll your mouse wheel (if set to thrust) once from 100%, you get stage one after burner which burn less fuel than stage 2

Like one guy in comments here said, funniest playerbase ever. I was dealing with a 109 that was turnfighting me in my Zero, I deliberately turned worse than the 109 to have him expend all his energy on me, when I deemed him out of energy I reversed him. That's when a J2M2 came in and ks'ed the 109, which was burning but not yet dead. So I slapped the burning 109, as was my right given the effort I put in, turned out to be my only kill, J2M2 proceeds to teamkill me, calls me the worst player ever, and that he would tk me again, this despite people in the chat corroborating my version of events. He then proceeded to get the most kills in that match, and handed my ass to me via DM as well. Come to check his statcard, he's only ever flown OP props, huge. If he's so hungry for kills, he should have found his own instead of munching off of the "worst player ever" (and to be fair, I consider myself to be perfectly average) 🤣
