My husband used to drive a tow for extra money. The police ended up calling him hammer hands. He's 6'7 and would help anyone even with no money. One guy tried to rob him , one pop and thug was knocked out cold. It wasn't the first time either, hence the name🤣 He's actually a big teddy bear until he needs to be a grizzly.

The tow truck driver! The same thing happened to my 2 daughters, a tire flew off their car in south South Georgia & by chance a “Hero Unit” drove by 10 minutes later after we got off the phone with her, kinda sketchy area and my hubs & I hopped in our car for the 3 hr drive to get them, this “ Hero Driver” after his shift came back to where he towed them and stayed with my girls (19 & 15 yrs old) until we showed up an hour & half later. As I thanked him profusely & hugged him for going WAY ABOVE & BEYOND for my girls, I slipped a few large bills into his shirt pocket & he nodded & said “I have daughters to ma’am, it was pleasure to ensure their safety”. ❤️

When I was in high school I had a classmate who was on the spectrum who would always get very close and touchy. I told my friend it made me uncomfortable and she said I was in the wrong for feeling that way and really got on my case about it. Next time I saw him I spoke up and said “oh I’m sorry, hugs and stuff just make me kind of uncomfortable”. And you know what happened? He totally respected it, apologized for getting in my space, and never did it again while still greeting me with a huge smile every day. I didn’t bring it up to my friend but what the school admin said to that girl reminded me of it, isn’t it more rude to assume someone on the spectrum can’t comprehend something like that right away?
@itsybitsyblondie457
@itsybitsyblondie457 2 жыл бұрын
Yes, I agree. That story was so infuriating- especially when the person who’s making you uncomfortable is somehow shifted into being the victim. I’m glad you were able solve your issue. At the end of the day, it’s kind of messed up to put the blame of someone’s actions upon “they’re on the spectrum”. Like I’ve worked with a lot of kids on the spectrum & they were very sweet & understood boundaries when you explained things to them. That guy in the college campus story was just a creep.

How about if the fusking "student advocate" had a polite talk with him in case "the little chat" doesn't go well??? Like, the person trained for the job instead of a random female he's putting his crotch in their face? Seems kinda reasonable versus "rude" to think that. Oooh, she might be ruuuuude.
@tomarnold7284
@tomarnold7284 2 жыл бұрын
I think its better to come clear and explain one's situation, so others would understand why one behaves this way, whether they learn to respect it is another matter, but it's important to let others know if you have an issue. I came across students who were very sensitive on body contact, but they never say it and eventually dropped the classes. It wasn't later I met the parents and they admit of the issue, but were too embarrass to tell because it made them feel bad.
@SunGawdRa
@SunGawdRa 7 ай бұрын
I'm kind of wondering why the lady in that story didn't do or say the same instead of wanting the guy to take the hint. Guys don't understand hints, they understand direct words. Hopefully polite, but firm wording. If that behavior still continues, then spectrum or not he's getting reported to the school, authorities, friends, family, everyone. Too many entitled and deranged people out there to do otherwise.

The one involving the International House Of Prayer kind of weirds me out because my family attended the same church as a family who moved from Kansas to where I live. They were a strange bunch, to say the least, but they were nice enough. They started a group based off of IHOP in the area, and my parents helped out with it briefly, eventually stopping due to some health issues that makes them both super exhausted easily. After my parents stopped attending it, the parents kind of ghosted mine, and neither my sister or I were close with any of the kids so we didn't really have any ties with them. My parents thought that they were friends until then, after hearing IHOP being described as a cult, it's kind of making me wonder tbh

That last story and their unwilingness to stop this guy- that's why these creeps keep doing it again and again and again. Because they never face any sort of consequence, a lot of the time not even a stern talking to. Though a lot of the stalker creeps still continue even with a restraining order, some even until the point of jail, a large enough plurality back off when an authority figure gets involved for it to be a worthwhile thing for said authorities to do. Instead, what usually happens amounts to nothing by performed by no one, which makes victims scared feel like it's not even worth it to face the humiliation of reporting only to be mocked for being too sensitive. (I would know, I've been there, and reporting was traumatic enough for me to never do it again even when worse things happened to me.) Everyone everywhere says that they care about keeping women safe and protecting victims (that includes men too- as well as queer and trans people I might as well add- as I've seen many a female stalker/perpetrator). Yet, time and time again when a victim shows up with detailed accounts of what happened, notes, witness corroboration and even video proof, the authorities will STILL wave it off and not take it seriously. Disgusting.

I had several encounters where a stranger knocked on my door, kept repeating "just open the door!" without giving further information, standing away from the peephole not revealing themselves. I didn't waste my breath and call the police right away. It didn't scare me as much as it annoys me that what were they thinking? Did they really think people would open the door?

Ayo, this is the first time I've heard the same story from 2 different channels. The second story about the towtruck dude. Remember hearing this on be bustas channel. Thought it was a little funny

Think I might flip a table at the "he might be on the spectrum or socially awkward". Buddy, I'm at least one of those things, it ain't an excuse for me to make other people feel creeped out. But, it's an excuse for boys to be creepy to my younger self, I guess...

Cops were like, yeah if they come back you can use Bleach or Clorox to defend yourself. Alright, aim for the eyes! Have a good night!

Hell that’s more than they’d usually do- those officers went “above and beyond” 🙄🙄🙄

@@sandraelliott4435 The law limits what can be done, as does how far the police force in that area is stretched.

I'm on the spectrum and that student advocate pisses me off for two reasons. 1. This was a serious matter regardless of whether he was on the spectrum or not. His behaviour was not ok and the girls had every right to complain. Something clearly needed to be done. 2. If the guy truly didn't see why his behaviour was wrong, the best thing for him is to explain it. Her approach didn't help anyone.
