Official WLTP fuel economy figures are 50.4 to 53.3mpg for front-wheel-drive UX models. The range of values is due to some equipment, such as larger alloy wheels, affecting fuel consumption. As for all-wheel-drive variants, these are claimed to be capable of returning 47.1mpg. We saw around 37mpg average.
In front-wheel-drive versions, the 2.0-litre four-cylinder petrol engine and the electric motor delivers a total system output of 180bhp and 190Nm, so, 0 - 62mph sprint time of 8.5 second

Great review thankyou. I've just done 100 k km in mine flawless. I'd usually change after 3 years but I'm keeping it. I like the trackpad you just get used to it. Averaged 58 mpg over its lifetime.🍀

i dont use the track pad, i use voice control from a button on the steering wheel.

It really is a fantastic car, if you see it / own it you will even be more impressed by the exterior but especially the interior - not to mention it's unrivaled build quality in it's class and for its price. It literally feels and looks like a LITTLE SAMURAI.

Lexus are certainly knocking the ball out of the park when it comes to styling, both inside and outside. No Apple CarPlay in the UK? They DON'T even have it in Japan either. They have Rapple CarPray there :-))... A lot of famous people have a Toyota Prius. But then they also have a lot of V8's and V12's to counter this silence too :-))... Once again Howard delivers a review on a car that deserves an Oscar. 🏆

Btw for European roads with a mix of highway cruising and small EU cities driving would you pick lexus NX or lexus UX? (I’m thinking NX might be roomier, more comfortable but UX might be easier to park around)

UX is big enough to give parking issues. Its almost as long as a standard space.

Please, at least don't lie about quiet. With windows closed is actually pretty noisy. I own the car and is 2021, I know exactly how noisy it is.

Sorry to hear your UX is not as quiet as you expected, or is noiser than when you test drove the car. Our uploads cover road noise regularly as our reviewer is not a fan of it either! In the most recent RX upload this was covered. Unfortunately in this case he only drove one example of the car. The test did include town and motorway strangely. As you know noise levels are subject to road conditions, speed, weather and tyre choice, along with wheel choice, size or pressure and manufacturers do also make many changes to cars during their build lifecycle. That ofcourse does not mitigate your frustration, so thanks for letting us know, we hope you get some joy exploring some warranty workarounds. We will pin this comment so that others are able to read it.

Prius as courtesy car: 68 MPG. Winner of ugliest car, ever! UX250h as owner: 53 MPG. Chief designer, a woman! Does NOT have run flats. It has Bridgestone Turanza T005(a).

Bought an NX new. Admitted defeat after three months. Horrendous seats, an embarrassingly bad infotainment system and let’s not even mention the cvt gearbox and crap mpg. You think they’re nice till you actually live with one long term.

@@paulsmith4314 I had a 24hr test drive with one before. Everything you said there seems to be a lie in my eyes. The NX was so comfortable, felt premium, delivered an excellent 50 MPG. Although the infotainment was a bit fiddly. But you're meant to learn tech.
