That's a brake hold button. It has nothing to do with the battery. The brake hold allows you to take your foot off the brake when sitting at a red light etc.

I own brand new UX 250h and guys, it is so relaxing car. I switch my G37 Convertible for this….it is different universe, how ever I am so happy❤️🔥

I testdrove both the UX200 and 250h, you really feel the difference. The 250h is my pick for sure. 181hp is sufficient for us city dwellers, it gets the same gas mileage as the new Rav4 Hybrid, subcompact so it fits EVERYWHERE, AWD/electric up to 45mph which is pretty much everyday city driving, $30-40 per fill up for 400+ miles, and can't beat that luxury Lexus comfort/reliability. My only complaint is definitely the cargo space it is very limited. Thank goodness roof cross bars are optional and it makes it look sporty. I'm planning on purchasing a UX250h sometime next month, I'm just waiting for the price to reduce as the 2020s make their way in. Hopefully Lexus addresses these complaints over the next year...1. Needs a F-sport trim with a turbo powertrain "UXF-200t? 2. They need to make it just a little wider with better ground clearance and cargo, and lastly, Lexus needs to work on their user interface.

pls do not mix up a Toyota/Lexus e-cvt with a regular cvt !! The e-cvt is completely geardriven with some planetary gear sets while a regular cvt has a belt which is´nt that relaible and needs more often oil changes !

we drove it 3 days and i like it very much; wife not so much...she´s for the V6Hybrid because the 4cyl is her to noisy under load :-)

I bought this and a motorcycle. Most new vehicles don't come with spare tires.
@Pickuptrucktalk5 жыл бұрын
Sure, lots of new compact SUVs and sedans don't come with spare tires, but that doesn't make it right.
@Tendertroll15 жыл бұрын
The tires are run flat, so they don’t provide a spare tire
@Pickuptrucktalk5 жыл бұрын
Yep, still don't like it.

Pickup Truck Plus SUV Talk yeah. Would be much better with the Camry engine, more power, the nx is really underpowered too

I noticed that. Also, Lexus would have had to figure out where the battery would be placed. I presume, Lexus offers a service that would take care of any flats? Hopefully Lexus addresses these flaws. I feel like they at least figure a way to place the batteries under the seats without ruining cargo space so a spare can be offered or at least better cargo volume.

I just bought a 2019 Lexus UX250H and I'm curious because I can't find anything about this...at slower speeds, stops or idles it can be absolutely quiet, but at times (I haven't figured out what sets it off), it will almost 'start up'... it's hard to explain. It makes me and everyone else jump as you can't hear it at all and then you clearly can. Is this normal? Did you experience this with the one you test drove? It's so weird.

Thank you for sharing the dislikes sir, which also happens to be mine too(namely the analog clock, name, w/o spare tire), did you have any alternatives to the UX at the time of purchase? Would you buy it again?
@Pickuptrucktalk2 жыл бұрын
TBC, I didn't buy this. This is a week-long loan to review.

Thank you. I felt like it was slow. Glad I’m not alone.

Pickup Truck Plus SUV Talk even if it’s lexus, I don’t care. It’s very expensive for this price and it shouldn’t be more 35k$. If it has the 2.0L turbo or the same the hybrid engine on the Camry I would not mind the price.
@Tendertroll15 жыл бұрын
Ahmad Al Ameer it has the smaller engine because it was designed mainly for city driving and bumper to bumper urban exploring. Gets higher mileage due to less power.
@Ahmad-yw5hl5 жыл бұрын
Toucan Sam I honestly do not think it’s going to do good in the US because in the US you have mainly open roads and highways.
@Tendertroll15 жыл бұрын
Ahmad Al Ameer I totally agree with you that more power would be much better though for the overall experience
