CLR is the best stuff to clean blocks, timing covers , radiators, anything with crappy coolant slime. sludge rust or scale. Calcium Lime Rust remover soaked, washed and flushed clean then neutralized. Use HOAT coolant to prevent further coolant buildup with reverse-osmosis water diluted with HOAT coolant 50/50. Do not use tap, well or city water ever even to top off. I did my 2000 SLT Durango in 2002, and 20 years later the coolant condition is still perfect.

Take the upper core support out already. 6 bolts for the core, 2 for the rad, and that fan shroud was out.

we had a 69 an a half with this whole fiberglass hood an scoop, first pass with issues was 14.03 quarter mile,an had more work to do of course with 383 magnum,it was like 1989 or so,an i w as 103...it did get faster for sure, used solid lift cams back then somewhat,an needed maybe to tweak valve adjustment etc, tires were very bald as i now remember,an got only the one run spinnin pretty bad...

With your Spin Tech headers, did you have to modify anything to get yours to fit properly ? I sure did on my 2000 R/T. 1 7/8 inch primaries with port plates to 3 inch collectors. Just curious if mine were lemons.

How much for Jason's viper replica wheels? Is he trying to get rid of them since he's putting on a different set? I'm in border LA/OC. I also have a 5.9L 360 Magnum on a '02 Ram 1500 4x4. Wish I can do to mine what you guys are doing to your guys R/T's

Awesome, another Mopar build going. Those indy x performance heads sould make a big difference with the cam and 1.6 rockers. Looking forward to seeing the results with the Hughs Air Gap intake with this set up. Stay safe brother and keep these video's coming. Giving me idea's on my old 99 5.2 Dodge Ram with 250,000 miles. I keep her because she don't smoke or burn oil and still runs strong.

jon, be sure to replace those engine plugs aka freeze plugs with new ones, cheap insurance. From what I see from that frozen or seized waterpump, I bet there is alot of rust inside the block. Dip those new ARE head bolts in fresh motor oil to help torque down the bolts
