Also try doing the child’s pose from yoga as a balance move. You can do it on your bed.

I get painful back spasms that feel like I pulled a muscle in my lower back on the right at least once a month; this just activated some of those muscles! Hopefully doing this routinely and other pelvic floor exercises will prevent future spasms

I've been going to a great chiro/rehab and physiatrist for SI. It started off due to an injury, but now that I have Sjogren's in Rheumatoid family then it's attacking that joint. Thank you for this strength. Going in mt arsenal.

Wow, I figured out this stretch with the rocking motion several years ago on my own. It was the only way I could relieve the chronic aching pain I experience since having an open laminectomy surgery for stenosis of my spine from L3-4 thru S2-3. Any other tips you might have for pain relief would be welcomed & appreciated! I’ve been loving your videos for many years! ❤😊

Opened the low-back up for sure. Got pelvic issues, and definetly tight on right side. I do the more aggressive with the legs open against the wall.

My body and back are in such a weakened and bad state since I just recovered from covid and have had to be in bed for a few weeks. I’m usually a very active senior. I have a lot of recovery to do and a lot of ibuprofen to take 😅 This stretch looks great, as so do many others you show Dr Mandell. Thank You 🙏🏻I need my body back so I can get back to the business of life and to my clients with disabilities.

I tried it but probably it diodn't help, i felt pinched hip joint instead. This is what works for me who have had sciatica and lumbago (super pain in lower back disc), works for stiff back in morning after long day: 1. Lay on back with ankles crossed ever one another and knees up at 90 degrees bent position and together. Now pull and push (shake) 20 times per hand on something with your hand (can be bed frame for head area ) to cause your entire body to shake, then switch the other ankle over and repeat and then lay stretched out on the bed for 1 min and just feel how the hip area starts to relax and allow the spine to go back to normal healing position.

I did this stretch today and a few minutes later I was just standing still watching tv and I heard a "crack" in my lower back and I think it reset my s.i. joint which I was having pain in, thanks!!

Just got adjusted yesterday after a couple of painful days. Went to the grocery and made the mistake of picking up a very heavy bag🥹 my left pelvis is locked up again. Going to get down on the floor later, got board mtg and luncheon first. 😊🙏

Never grab knees from anterior position when doing these things. Grab behind knee and pull thigh. Stop compressing/damaging the meniscus. Especially the posterior medial meniscus. It will save you from a worthless, yet expensive, meniscectomy. Also, stay away from “this is the best….” Without “best” being clearly defined. YW, DA

Kegel Exercises strengthen the bladder muscles. Several times throughout the day tighten the muscles as if you're holding your urine in, like when you have to go to the bathroom really bad, but have to hold it in.

I think u shouldn't strengthen ur bladder muscles but rather pelvic muscles if u feel incontinence..
