I eat 4 to 5 eggs and two slices of bacon when I breakfast between 1200 and 1400, I just put 2 fillets of the salmon I caught in the airfryer( one for me and one for the cats) and I eat steak regularly. As a Respiratory Therapist, I can't get passed the look of oysters. We have people cough them up and spit them in a cup! Lol!

Been on Carnivore for a month. move more doesn't apply everyone. I used to run marathons; the first one I ran I was 55; the last one I was 65; now I'm 78 and because of skeletal issues can hardly walk; shoulder problems so I can't lift weights. Watched a video by Dr. Ekberg on eating 5 eggs a day. Today is the first days to eat 5 eggs. Thak you.

I have been watching your videos recently because I might be insulin resistance even though I don't have all the symptoms. I'm in the process of changing my diet. I'm glad to find out eggs, beef, butter, and some fatty foods are good for you. These are foods I plan to incorporate more into my diet. I'm also ensuring I've got at least 12 hours between meals, trying to limit carbs, and using ACV. I do strength train because I do want to build more muscle for my balance, bones, and strength and I work in low impact cardio almost everyday. Look forward to more information from you as I watch your older videos.

Hi Kait, just started to follow you, thank you so much for your content. I have been looking for a question I want to ask in the comments but I cannot find it: I read from different sources that coffee on empty stomach in the morning spikes cortisol and may increase anxiety, jittery. It would be better to have it after a meal and at least one hour after waking up. What are your thoughts on this? 💝

11:35 EVERYONE should read that paper. It's actually not super technical, at least not to the point where you have to be a doctor to read it. I was really fortunate to catch a headline about it when it first came out and have shared it with quite a few people since then. It might take you a half-hour to an hour, but it's absolutely worthwhile to see how far the science has come.

Hi Kait! I am type two diabetic as a result of having a distal pancreatectomy six years ago for pre-cancer. I have been struggling with my weight loss. I’m 57 so it’s tougher these days. I have tried doing various diets like keto and carnivore. My doctor does not want me doing these as my cholesterol is in a dangerous range… Somewhere around 400 or so. My bad cholesterol is also extremely elevated. Not sure what the best diet for me would be based upon all of this but I will say I love eggs, salmon, butter and I do intermittent fasting with ease. I don’t eat beef only because I stopped eating it in 1986 and it makes me sick to my stomach. I mean I’m literally nauseous just thinking about it. Can you give me any advice? My cholesterol and desire to lose at least 40 pounds is of paramount importance…

I would absolutely love for you to do a video about type 1 diabetes and insulin. Especially when trying to control blood sugars for example by eating less carbs or doing keto. Does the manual injecting of insulin also hinder weight loss? For example. I can go all day not eating or eating 1 small low carb meal yet my blood sugar will sky rocket if I don’t inject insulin. It’s a vicious cycle I’m in and I don’t know what to do. Especially with different types of insulin like long acting and fast release. It’s a madness and some KZbin guidance will be much much appreciated.

Hi, my husband is type 2 diabetes taking insulin @50 units at night, plus medication, his been on insulin since August last year, our Dr wanted him to go on insulin 12 months prior to this, had we known about the Carnivore Diet back 12 months ago, I’m almost positive that my husband wouldn’t be insulin dependent now with his type 2 diabetes, I can honestly say that since he’s been on Carnivore Diet for almost a month now, his blood sugar levels have Never been as close to normal as what they are now, he was the same as you, skipping meals then when he would eat his insulin level was really high, he was eating everything the doctor was telling him to eat, he usually works away from home and once he was put onto the insulin he really started to take it all serious with his diet But nothing was bringing that level down until he started Carnivore, I did so much research on it, you might like to check out Dr Ken Berry, he’s got lots of information about the diet and type 1 diabetes..just an FYI. I hope it all works out for you, what my husband has at the moment is CharCot Foot due to his diabetes and I wouldn’t wish it on anyone, So Please take it seriously and Google CharCot Foot because it’s most common in diabetics 😢🇦🇺

Great advice Kait in helping my husband with his diabetes, he’s still going strong on the Carnivore Diet and his levels are very good, eggs were a surprise because they’ve always been a bit controversial with different diets, some say Yes to eggs and some Say No to keeping them to a minimum in your diet, my hubby loves eggs and now can eat as many as he wants being on Carnivore, I’ll boil up a dozen at a time for him to snack on or if he still feels hungry after his dinner he’ll eat a few boiled eggs, it’s unfortunate that So Well kit is only available in the USA 🇺🇸 when you actually Live here in Australia 🇦🇺, how did you get it and what should we be asking our Dr’s to get tested when going for a blood test, I’d be very curious to know as my husband goes next week to get checked and will get a pathology blood test to get done, just wanting to make sure he’s tested for all the Right things being on Carnivore for almost a month. Thanks Heaps for sharing your knowledge. 😊

Hi dear, another great video I appreciate your work. I don't really want to buy fresh oysters can I eat them can I eat them smoked in a can? I've been intermittent fasting for a number of years. I noticed when I mentioned it to my family or other work associates they say you should never fast. Of course I totally disagree and I've lost 60 lb buy IF. But what I wanted to mention to you is I like calling it time restricted eating. People seem to be less put off by those terms than the term of fasting even though it's the same thing, just a suggestion. Thanks again 😍🙏

i did keto for a few years and lost weight. I have high LDL and thought I should give it up although I had high LDL for over 20 years. My doc said my body just makes too much. I stopped keto and I have gained about 5 pounds in a couple months. I really think I will go back to it... start back on eggs, cheese and meat since you commented that eggs and meat don't affect cholesterol. I felt better on keto... carbs do not agree with my stomach and I am tired all the time.

You are very knowledgeable and I need to ask you a personal question about poop! LOL ... I had too much bacon, (i think?) and on top of that meringues made from Xylitol ... I had the most horrific 'acid' poop for 2 days - I almost felt like a baby who needed cream for a nappy rash! It was not pleasant ... Do you have more info on this reaction perhaps?
@patrickdaniel1

I think the amount you consumed plays a very important role in the diarrhea and your body weight too. much of xylitol can loosen up your stool. You need to consume less of it and be aware of your body's food tolerances.

Same goes for my green or black tea. Any opinions on the best type of tea? Maybe you can do a video on that topic? Anyway, you really need to look into chili peppers, as they are one of the best things for lowering blood sugar, it seems, as well as other issues. I put them with turmeric, ginger and garlic as the Four Horsemen of the Healthy Body. Take it hey hi easy.

Okay. So you are saying if I weigh 199 pounds but my optimal weight is 160. I should be consuming 160g of protein a day instead of 199g? Just want to make sure I understood what you said

Lol … don’t be afraid of using the f word Kate… “fat” .. fat is even better than protein when it comes to an insulin response.. I’m high fat low carb.. I’m fortunate to be extremely lactose “tolerant” so I’m able to eat tubs or sour cream and jugs of heavy whipping cream.. it gets me very full with no sugar spike. I was able to lose 40 lbs and reverse type 2 diabetes with it. Along with intermittent fasting. A bulletproof coffee using heavy whipping cream in the morning and a high fat, moderate protein, low carb meal between 2 and 5 pm and I’m good.
