You definitely need to try this one. I made some extra so all my family members can have some. Especially it is hot and humid in NY this couple days so this Gazpacho definitely works

Whatcher from Spain (Gazpacho is a typical European Spanish Food) and just one comment. It looks great and it's very well explained, but Gazpacho in Spain is NEVER made with Basil. If you look for recipes, there will be some differences between recipes, but no one uses Basil. In fact, in Spain we don't use basil so much. We use it as a seasoning for Italian food (pasta, pizza, caprese) but we don't use it for local recipes. Anyway, congratulations for the video and thank you for showing a delicious recipe from my country.

Interesting recipe. I use the whole green bell pepper and skip the red bell pepper, regular small peeled cucumber, skip cumin and basil, and 1/4 cup good extra virgin olive oil, sherry vinager and water if too thick, bread if too thin. That's how I was taught to make it. I use it as a beverage rather than a soup. But could easily be used as a soup. Love red bell pepper, cumin, and basil and of course olive oil. 1 & 1/2 cups olive oil? Not only would the calories be insane, it would cost of fortune if you drink it daily.

You can add less olive oil. I did large amount of soup.

Sorry I´m Spanish and the Gazpacho DONT HAVE BASILI!! "Perdona pero soy española y cocinera profesional y el gazpacho andaluz nunca ha llevado albahaca, por dios estamos locos!!! lo que lleva es un toque muy suave de cominos. Por otro lado ese gazpacho que haces no tiene textura de gazpacho, el gazpacho es mas liquido, parece un salmorejo que es una crema fría de tomates y pan tambien muy rica y tipica tambien de andalucia." Sorry I´m Spanish and the Gazpacho DONT HAVE BASILI!!
