I think Will is super underrated when it comes to his recipes. Not knocking doucette, but I like Will's recipes better because they're entirely its own thing, not just an anabolic version of a fast food thing I'm craving (again, I'm not saying anabolic food is bad).

This video reminds me of the time when I was learning how to cook. I had just got the very first diet plan (created it from Nextlevel diet iirc) at the age of 22 and started preparing my own meals from the food I got in the plan. I was so motivated back then. I broke my barriers when it comes to amount of food I can eat in a day, resulting in noticeable gains for a newbie. I recommend everyone to take care of their diet first, the rest should come naturally.

I had sleep issues when I started bulking I couldn't find out how i went from 9 hours almost every night to 7 hours shortly after I saw I was not eating enough as soon as I ate enough my sleep has gone up closer to 10 hours! training is important but diet and rest are just as important.
@ghostphantom89252 жыл бұрын
@@seekingdeen-i4o I'm no expert, but I thinking you should probably be sleeping more around 7 1/2 - 8 1/2 hours. I think sleeping less than that makes you not perform at your best, and sleeping too much over that makes you somewhat lazy.

Crazy to me, as a European, we cook everything fresh and healthy from scratch all our lives. If my son was 22 and didn’t know how to cook I would feel like a failure as a parent. I’m not trying to cause offence to you! Different cultures have different parenting. But since 14 years, I was cooking every meal for myself, I was also a rugby and gym rat in school, I was benching 100 with 16 years. I ate a LOT of food haha, but if I had known I’d only increase my bench by 20ish kg in the next couple years, I may have hopped on ⚙️ 😂😂🤫
@johnjenison94722 жыл бұрын
@@ghostphantom8925 you are correct, each humans cycle is different, but 7.5-8.5 hours of sleep is perfect. But even if you don’t get the full 8 hours, and you wake up naturally after 6 hours for example, you should always just get up. Do not go back to sleep. There are websites that let you know what is the optimal time to wake up depending on what time you sleep. Usually every 2 hours from when you first slept.
@karlbodmer43682 жыл бұрын
@@johnjenison9472 okay, but not everybody needs to know how to cook. We didn't come to this planet just to know how to cook. If he can get popular enough that he has his own chef, that would be best and all parents should strive for that, make their kids smart and guide them to be popular in life.

Been there homie. If I could offer advice as some one similar though I started at 18. Of all the youtubers that have come out that fact you are here with will is a great step and I would only recommend greg doucette (his older vids from 2019 and early 2020 are best) as well. A few tips below: 1. dont listen to idiots on the internet spewing about how x will make them fat or y. It comes down to cals. 2. build mass. More mass=higher caloric demand - I messed up here as when I started I was 235/240, cut down very unhealthily (in hindsight) to 165 over a few months (about 5-6 months) eating nothing but meat, protein shakes, and bread here and there (I worked at a sub shop lol). During this time as well I worked out excessively (1-1.5 hours of lifting before work most days and then a hour of cardio after) all on a 1600 cal diet (which is Omega low lmao). Dont be dumb. 3. Be consistent in the gym. Cardio is not needed to lose weight but it can help. Dont trust the calorie counter on the treadmill whole heartedly and mainly use it just as a boost. Hit the weights hard and recover/sleep enough. 4. Caffeine, more water, and adding veggies to every meal will help keep you satiated as its more volume (takes up more stomach space which tells your brain youre full). 5. prioritize protien, carbs and fats dont really matter as long as you hit your protien for the day and are under your caloric limit (if the goal is fat loss). 6. EVEN if you dont want to workout that day, go for 20-30 mins at a minimum. There will come a time when not going literally makes you feel off or shitty so you want that. what I mean is make the gym an addiction and dont cheat yourself. Ive been going for 3.5 years now and I can tell you Ive never felt this good about my body before. I am currently at around 180 (yes bulkier but I like the bear mode look on myself and will cut to 170 for summer), get comments all the time, people treat me different, and random people I meet make immediate comments about me being a lifter. One crazy thing was I went back to my home state and EVERY single person I have not seen in the last 2 years I saw in public or at the local gym came up to me and asked if I was who I am. As in they did not recognize me and EVERY single girl that I was around would touch me, grab my arms, make comments, passes etc. It is a weird experience and I dont mean all this to gloat as I still feel small and fat. But I just wanna share my experience so you know its possible. Im far from my goals but we will all make it some day. I wish I started sooner. Good luck!!
