You should do one of these for breakfast options! I have to be to work fairly early in the morning and never want to get up even earlier to make myself breakfast lol. So I always just end up eating a protein bar or something along those lines and I'm getting kind of bored with that! I love all your videos!

Oh my gosh girl, I am so, so happy I found your videos. I've been watching for about 3 hours now hahaha. I've been struggling with trying to find someone to explain HOW and WHY foods work together. All your videos do such an excellent job of that. Thank you for sharing. I think you're wonderful. I feel like I already know the answer to this... but what is your take on the 'Pure Protein' Bars brand? You can see the ingredients and stuff on the Walmart/Sams club websites. I'm trying to find a good source of protein immediately after working out that isn't going to cost a ton of money. I haven't actually seen any of your videos mention that yet, or what you do personally. I have tried this bar and really like the double chocolate. It has 20 grams of protein and keeps me full about 3 hours after I workout. Have a super weekend! Thanks!

I agree they can get pricey! You definitely can't go wrong with nuts & fruit! What is a good fat/protein to sugar ration for a bar? Also, Idk why healthy snacks are so much harder to think of than meals. Thanks for the ideas!

Alyssa, you want to look at protein and carbs. 7 grams of protein to every 15 grams of carbs is the ratio.

I absolutely LOVE Siggi's! I can only eat the 0% fat ones as they are so rich and creamy. I have issues with my bone health though and lactose intolerant. Siggi's is the only yogurt I can tolerate tbh. Ive read so much there are nutrients like K2, CLA, etc thats only in the fat. ALso SIggis is very low in calcium and I have problems with drinking even lactose free milk. My bones went down hill when I was vegan for 12 yrs so Im guessing I do not absorb calcium carbonate well, etc. Im now vegetarian as the vegan diet seemed to harm my bones, but lactose intolerant. What is healthiest dairy/calcium wise? I do supplement with vit D, now K2 and been taking some algae based calcium. Also Im surprised you dont seem to eat flax or chia seed? Do you enjoy fish I guess instead? Thanks! YOur videos are great as most people want a healthy sustainable non restrictive diet. You address healthier options and dont promote extreme eating or elimination.

Where can you buy the perfect bars and that's it Barr's
@BeccaBristow8 жыл бұрын
I know Whole Foods always carries perfect bars, but some of my local grocery stores has started carrying them too! They are kept in the refrigerated section, not with all the other bars on the shelf! And as far as that's it bars, I know Target has started to carry them! And you can always get them on Amazon or off their website :)

its hard to find yougurt that is low on sugar. i buy different organic brands and there like 12 grams of sugar. the zero sugar tastes like stevia and stevia is nasty.

hello becca I have been watching your video since last year. Hope you can do a video about being a vegan but with balanced meal plans to balnace cravings and sugar spikes especially before midnight I binge on fruits. My problem is i overeat at evey meals. I eat vegan and sometimes fish twice a week. Im counting calories at 1450 for a 5 ft woman and do light pilates only at home.
@BeccaBristow8 жыл бұрын
Hi Barbie! I am personally not vegan, and like to promote a more balanced lifestyle, so I will probably not be doing any vegan-focused videos :)
@spottedbybarbie8 жыл бұрын
I know you are not vegan as I have watched tons of your videos and I do watch your videos every single day to help me remember that I need to eat balanced meals. thats why Iam not a full vegan anymore. I am somewhat a nutritarian who eats, grains, fruits, vegetables, fish and greek yogurt coz here in the Philippines we don't have coconut yogurt and I love greek yogurt even before when I went vegan. hope you can help me to know whats really my daily calorie count. I have went to 2 dieticians here in my country and they advice me that 1450 cal 41-43 kilos is just normal on my height who does 30 mins or 20 mins light pilates to intermediate everyday.

Do you stay away from dairy? Either way, with that thought....what do you think of yogurt and a person wanting to stay away from dairy...?
@rikketakera8 жыл бұрын
Sheri Vance She definitely eats dairy - you can see her talking about/eating Greek yogurt in a few of her "what I eat in a day" videos :) she also has a video dedicated to them and the healthier options. It's in her "the skinny on" series.
@BeccaBristow8 жыл бұрын
I eat dairy! The main source of dairy in my diet is definitely greek yogurt. Are you lactose intolerant? Or just choosing to avoid it? Out of all the dairy products, yogurt is the most beneficial in my opinion (especially greek) since it's high in protein & has probiotics. Just watch the sugar content! But you don't have to eat yogurt haha it's totally up to you!

Becca Bristow another video I'd love to see is you talking about Fad Superfoods (acai, cacao nibs, maca powder etc) vs more easily available fruits/foods (at least here in the US). Sometimes you tubers can make it seem like you are missing out if you don't eat them, and I wonder if they are overhyped! It would be cool to do a comparison of some sort :). Especially since I feel like a lot of people feel like they can't afford to be healthy! Love your videos! Must go to bed I think I've watched like 40% of your channel in one night.
