Thank you so much for your wonderful and detailed presentation. I recently got my lipid profile done, my results were - Total cholesterol - 206, HDL - 80, LDL - 112. My question is about my HDL. All this while I was under the impression that a higher HDL (good cholesterol) was good for health. But my nutritionist told me that the HDL is too high. Can you pls shed some light on this.

No issue. HDL jitna zyada ho utna acha hai. Ur LDL 112, bcoz of ur healthy HDL. Apko heart ki bimari nahi ho sakti agar yahi no. Aage bhi rahe to. Very Good

Hi Dr. I am a professor and I must say that you explain each and everything in a systematic and excellent way. Thank you very much. I am 45 year old and recently found high cholesterol in my blood test. I am a pure vegetarian, non smoker, non alcoholic. In our kitchen, we use mustard oil and sunflower oil for cooking vegetables and desi ghee for pranthas. I don't eat out side food like Pizza, grated cheese, cheese slice etc. You said in vdo that mustard oil and vegetable oil is good. Then why my cholesterol is high. Plz explain. Thank you

Arjun chal + dal chini ka kada 45 days daily subah sath me Ek do lehsun ki Kalli / phadi chabani ya nigalni hai.. No oil ,butter, chicken and mutton for 2 months 45 mins jog / slow running daily. 60 days me normal hoga sab kuch kitna bhi high ho Half ho jayega. 4-5 kg weight bhi Kam hoga 2 months me.

Excellent advuce. Dr could you please put another video on how to normalise thyroid function in Hypothyroidism especially in cases where all parameters (T3/T4/FT3/FT4 /TPO) in the normal ranges except moderately elevated TSH between 5 to 15 units. There are millions of such patients suffering from Subclinical Hypothyroidism ( most of them with elevated LDL or elevated Diastolic pressure) and most of the doctors are in a hurry to put patients on Hormonereplacement therapy with thyroxine which badly affect thyroid function further and patients can never stop thyroxine.

1. How much Omega3 should be taken daily. Whether in morning or evening. 2. While taking nuts for mono unsaturated fats, say almonds should it be taken roasted or raw. How much quantity should be taken per day.

If you are taking omega 3 supplement see manufacturers suggested daily dose and stick to it. Nuts taken raw or soaked in water overnight is best. Avoid processed nuts.

you missed the most important point. Sugar which is the main culprit. Just go off sugar of all kinds and increasing fibre is the solution. I have tried it on myself. i am sad to say that most of the doctors are ignorant on this. Tryglycerides are more dangerous.
