Watching the docos “Forks over Knives” and “What the Health” changed my life at 65 years old and 6 years later, I’ve reversed my angina, type2 diabetes etc. We need people like you to spread the message of good health in our early years before we are diagnosed with these conditions. 👍

I am retired but I worked at Cleveland Clinic with Dr Esslytain( sure I spelled his name wrong). Those documentaries let me know I was on the right path. I had a hereditary breast cancer, I was lucky it was caught early( 10 yr survivor). Chemo was hard on my body , especially my liver. My numbers kept going up till I became a vegan. Within the first 2 months my labs improved. Even my 90 yo aunt tried it, somethings she disliked but she tried everything. Your food is tasty where so many vegan recipes are nut. Thanks keep posting.

Hello Javant, I've been on a WFPB diet, and I'm loving the idea that a black man living this way and engaged in selfcare is possible. Some people can't accept this type of information from just anyone because they don't believe it's possible. Your very existence is an inspiration that changing your diet and lifestyle habits can improve your overall well-being, and that's a fantastic thing to watch. BTW, thank you for reminding us about the power of millet. I personally forgot about it but im now using it in stir-fry dishes. In fact, I have been working on creating a millet version of Jollof Rice, and I would love it if you'd make a version for your channel. Thanks, and I'll be looking for that App of yours.

Thank you Mr. Javant for all you do. I have been on my healthy journey since the beginning of this year. Staying consistent has been hard. I fall off track a lot but I always get back on track. My father will be 76 soon and he just got a pacemaker he used to always stay consistent with his healthy ways but as he got older I saw how his healthy ways stopped and now that he lives by himself he rarely eats and if he eats it would be food that’s not healthy. So I made him a raw collard greens salad and he said that gave him some energy. I showed him a couple of your videos and now he have me making your recipes not just for my children and I but for him as well. I’m working on him getting his eating healthy habits back and then exercising and building his muscles. This is what we need keep giving us those healthy recipes and again, thank you.

I am writing it, but it will be quite awhile. My Healthy Vegan Meal Plan & Lifestyle App will have more than 300 recipes, as well as lots of other helpful features. It will give weekly meal plans and the ability to choose and custom create your favorite recipes into your own personal meal plans. It will be available for phone and desktop, and have the ability to print recipes and grocery lists for recipes you want to make. There will be videos of me walking you through my pantry, fridge, and freezer, and providing tips on how to stock your own. I will also show you all of my appliances and share all of the brands I recommend for foods and appliances. There will also be videos covering supplements, how to cook grains ( quinoa & millet ), tips for cooking oil-free, what are the healthiest foods, sleep, positive mindset, and several additional topics.I will also have lots of videos demonstrating my sensible approach to exercise and fitness that I describe as "consistency over intensity." Finally, there will be a calendar for people to schedule virtual cooking sessions with me for both couples and individuals. People can also schedule general Q&A sessions with me. So, it will be very comprehensive and offer lots of guidance information, and support, with new material added weekly. My hope is that lots of people will find the App helpful and empowering! It should be available in early January. Thanks for asking!

Hello Javant. I recently stumbled onto your channel. I love its motto: Do it yourself and that it drives your content. You even explain which types of equipment I would need and wheather or not there are less expensive ways to get the same results..... every little detail EXCEPT when it comes to baking something. No mention of preheating the oven, what tempurature to set it for, or how long to bake it. Would a toaster oven do or an air fryer?
@healthyveganeating Жыл бұрын
I’m confused… have you not seen my recipes? I include oven temp and cooking times with every video recipe.
@aletaschulz1108 Жыл бұрын
The three I saw had everything EXCEPT the oven temp and time.... it was almost like that part was skipped or blanked out. I see and hear you say bake then the next thing is the dish is out of the oven and rested. That struck me as odd because oven temp and time was always included in every cooking program I have seen. @@healthyveganeating

Two beautiful souls right there! Are smoothies and puréed or liquidised foods worse than eating whole foods? Do they release free sugar and destroy fibre or are they an aid to better digestion and a way to eat more veggies? Not sure if I need a powerful blender or not for this smoothie craze

I am from Trinidad & Tobago and I would really like it if you look into some of the recipes of my country to see what you could come up with plant-based wise

I really appreciate you giving us the recipe without having to join some sort of a group or anything like that. I did try plant base a couple years ago I just couldn’t get my family into it but for some reason I guess with all the spices and difference things you use I don’t know what it is. These dishes are delicious and I’m getting my family to enjoy it so since the United States decided to do engineer meat, this is going to be our new lifestyle if they eat meat they going to have to get it outside of this house?

Could you do some SOS free salad dressings?

They all are. I have salt in the recipe, but you can simply omit which is what I do when I make them.
