Over 20 years of massive US blockade and economic sanctions are one of the main reason the country with the largest oil reserves in the world are facing such an economic predicament. MSM in the US will fool you but never mentioned that the nation was very prosperous before US sanctions. The US and UK also froze all of Venezuela’s foreign reserves. The US has been trying to install several puppets in power in that country but has backfired so far. Use economic warfare aka sanctions to cause pain to the masses and trigger a revolution, this has also failed so far. The US desperately wants to get its hand on Venezuela’s resources, that is how the empire operates. In my opinion, it is fair game for millions of Venezuelans to migrate illegally into the US. @@worldnewsvideos The U.S. government derives the authority to impose trade sanctions on other countries from several legal and constitutional sources. *U.S. Constitution* Commerce Clause: The U.S. Constitution grants Congress the power to regulate commerce with foreign nations (Article I, Section 8). This includes the authority to impose trade restrictions or sanctions. Foreign Affairs Powers: The President, as the chief executive, has broad authority in foreign affairs, including implementing sanctions as part of U.S. foreign policy. *Legislation* Trade Laws: Various U.S. laws provide specific authority for the imposition of trade sanctions. For example: The International Emergency Economic Powers Act (IEEPA): Grants the President broad powers to deal with unusual and extraordinary threats to the U.S. that originate from abroad, including imposing economic sanctions. The Trading with the Enemy Act (TWEA): Allows the President to restrict trade with countries during times of war or national emergency. The Export Administration Act (EAA): Controls the export of goods and technology that could harm U.S. national security, foreign policy, or economic interests. The Comprehensive Anti-Apartheid Act: An example of specific legislation targeting a particular country (South Africa during apartheid). *Executive Orders* The President can issue Executive Orders to impose sanctions, often based on the powers granted by IEEPA or other statutes. These orders are legally binding and can restrict trade, freeze assets, or impose other penalties. *International Law* While international law generally promotes free trade, it also recognizes the right of states to take measures to protect their national security and interests. This includes the imposition of sanctions under certain conditions, particularly when authorized by the United Nations Security Council or as part of multilateral agreements. *Enforcement Mechanisms* Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC): A division of the U.S. Department of the Treasury, OFAC administers and enforces economic and trade sanctions based on U.S. foreign policy and national security goals. Department of Commerce: Through the Bureau of Industry and Security (BIS), it enforces export controls and trade restrictions. For example, the U.S. maintains strict sanctions against North Korea, prohibiting the export of many items. The restrictions are designed to limit North Korea's access to resources that could be used for military or oppressive purposes, as well as to pressure the regime regarding its nuclear and missile programs. In essence, the right of the U.S. government to place trade sanctions on other countries is rooted in its constitutional powers, specific legislative authorities, and international law frameworks.

What criminal migrants? So much ignorance. Venezuela has the largest oil reserves in the world and was doing very well until the US imposed massive sanctions on the country 0ver 20years ago. The US and the UK also seized all of the country’s foreign reserves. The US has been trying to install puppets to power in Venezuela for over 20 years with no success and the US getting more desperate. It is fair game for millions of Venezuelans to migrate to America illegally, as it is the Americans sanctions that is at the core of their hardship. You destroy my country, I move to yours.

The U.S. government has sanctions on Venezuela. Sanction laws prohibit the export of planes to Venezuela. The U.S. Constitution grants Congress the power to regulate commerce with foreign nations (Article I, Section 8). This includes the authority to impose trade restrictions or sanctions. The Venezuelan government circumvented the sanction by acquiring the plane through a shell company located in the Caribbean. The Department of Justice has the legal authority to seize illegally exported items to Venezuela.
