That was pretty good and mostly accurate. The commentator was more overtly anti-keto, and I don't know if that is her internal bias or if she was playing devil's advocate. 1. It is not true that most do not need to count calories (or count macros) on keto. When people just start, and especially obese people, the appetite suppressing effect of the diet tends to make it less necessary to track macros/calories in order to lose body fat. After one has been on the diet for a while, or is already lean, then one certainly needs to pay more attention to food intake. 2. Lots and lots of people have remained on the ketogenic diet for much longer than Dr. Shivdasani recommends. I am surprised that in the field of obesity medicine, she would limit the duration of the diet. 3. Being in ketosis and "burning fat" are technically not the same thing. Ketones are formed primarily as the fuel for your brain during periods of starvation (or very low carb dieting.) Most people can lose body fat when eating a very high carb diet with low enough calories and never enter ketosis. However, those people with "metabolic damage" mentioned here are perhaps the best candidates for keto.

On the contrary, they say you don’t have to count calories in the keto diet, but you have to count net carbs, fat and protein in this diet, a lot of ppl assume that oh I just have to skip rice and bread and eat tons of fat and protein, which is not how you do it. She

But keto diet is not safe. Our body needs complex carbohydrates.
Pehle pel ke khao phir mat khao.. Sab kuch khao bhai thoda thoda... Abhi gore peeche Bhaag rahe he keto ke peeche to phir ye desi kab tak peeche rahenge.
