Thanks for these exercises, I'm in my 70s and is already on an exercise regime 3 days a week so adding yours will make it 4. I find I'm very flexible and it's because I've been doing it since my late 20s , with God's help I hope to live a long healthy satisfying life ❤🎉

I had a great day with you, Jules. I've learned how valuable pushing and pulling are with "phantom" objects one would push and pull. It was a new concept for exercising and you brought it home. Moves against nothing but ones's resistance adds so much more to each routine. It's more demanding, but over time, guess what? The muscles strengthen and it becomes easier to imagine and perform. You've also stressed "squeezing," Very few instructors stress engaging /tensing the muscles when not using weights or resistance bands. I've done this all along. Isometric moves are golden. For me, no apologies needed when you counti eps. It focuses and centers me, but I understand that some may not prefer this. I'm so glad I came across your channel!...Anastasia

I love your class, found it a week ago, I'm 58 and I have arthritis in lower vertebrae and in both big toes. I just had foot surgery so I wanted to find something that's not too hard on my foot, this works great.

This is my 3rd time through the 7 day chair exercises. I don't do one every day but since I found your videos I exercise more than ever before. I can't explain why but there are days I would not exercise if I couldn't do it with you but I can face exercising with your help. I especially like the days where there is a picture of the outdoors behind you. Thank you very much for changing my attitude toward exercising.

Hi Jules, You asked what we like about Day 4. There are only three longer repetitions that are enjoyable to do. Other days have too many shorter (6) repetitions which are challenging. We like the running, the sit stands and the way you use the weights. As always, the stretches are excellent.

I am a new fan, and I have enjoyed the 7 day series so far. I had a very bad gout flare up, and could not walk as I normally do for exercise. I was browsing through KZbin last week, and stumbled across your chair exercises, and they have been a life saver. I was surprised that I sweat just as much as when I do a brisk walk!! I am looking forward to finishing out the 7 day challenge. Excellent workouts!

I finished day four! I am motivated to finish the 7 day challenge. I enjoy your workouts as they are very easy to follow…. No fancy footwork. Hi Sharon! I'm so happy to read that you are doing these workouts and already thinking about what you're going to do next after finishing the 7 days. That is GREAT. I have quite a few seated workouts and my goal is to put a new one out every Wednesday. I try to provide a variety of levels, though, so some weeks the workout might be too easy for you. If you go to my playlists, you'll see a playlist dedicated to seated gentle workouts, seated beginner and seated intermediate. After the 7 days, I'd suggest going there to choose the workouts you feel are appropriate for your level. I hope that helps:)

Yes, that is right although if you feel you need to take a day off due to feeling sore/exhausted, etc., then by all means listen to your body and do what works best for you.

Day 4 seemed different today, missing some of the transitions between exercises, maybe has been changed/spliced but suddenly you are in a different exercise and we aren’t…just fyi. I can follow but new ones might not.

Hi, my suggestion is to try to do a workout in the morning and another one later in the day if you can. The more movement you do, the better results you'll see. Healthy eating is also a huge part of losing weight. I don't do the workout with groups on my channel because I don't have the space in my house to record more than just me.
