I remember walking my daughter down the isle. Just before we started I wiped my eyes. She asked if I was crying and I nodded yes. This song kills me everytime, it just completely nails how a Dad feels about his daughter. Love my baby girl so much, she is my world and my everything...my best friend. Being "her Dad" is all I am and all I ever wanna be..it's my joy and honor and privilege to get to be her Dad. From the second the nurse put her in my arms, all my love and time and attention has went to her, and my life before that exact second ceased to exist or matter. Now she is away at college, and man that is so hard for me to adjust to, not being able to hug her every day, looking in her room and not seeing her sitting on her bed doing hw, seeing it empty...i miss being daily Daddy, just miss my girl period. But thats life and I'm so proud of her and I live for those trips to go see her and take her to dinner and catch up, and summer and xmas break. We have found our new normal, but yeah I still tear up really bad like a 210lb baby every time she goes back. I'm gonna be a damn wreck when she gets married one day lol! Love this channel by the way, what a beautiful, smart, and sweet woman and soul Sushi is.
