I can't tell you Anon amous how much I agree with that statement that there's way to many people that grow up without a dad or without a mom it's a crappy reality for those who are forced to grow up like that now me personally I was lucky to have both of my parents to this day and we're actually helping an adorable little girl that is a great kid because her mom isn't fit to be a mom at the moment and her dad I don't believe has ever been in the picture and to see her going through that daily breaks my heart but my family and I will make sure she has what she wants and needs

@@anonamous6968 I have been helping raise kids for over 25 years started as a little bit man myself helping my mom and dad all I could with my brother and two sisters it's not a secret siblings don't always get along but even if we weren't getting along all it would take to pull us back together was someone making a mistake and so much as picking on one of us because it became 4 of us on 1 bully guess who walked away and never tried that again you guessed it the bully and we wouldn't have to do anything but talk to him as for the little girl that is staying here now she's going to have that stability you spoke of the support she needs and her mom isn't that bad a person she's just in a bad time right now and that's why she's not able to be the mom the girl needs is all

This song breaks my heart for all the children growing up with one parent because the other one just walked away. My son has two kids he walked away from! It infuriates me to NO END!! It's a subject he refuses to discuss with me and his Dad! For the life of us, we don't understand how or why because he was raised in a wonderful loving home! There was no drinking or addiction! No fighting or anything! We always were there for him and his brother! They never needed or wanted for anything! They were raised with morals, respect and manners! We were always there for every single mile stone in their lives! Even at every single sports practices and games! I was involved with their schools! Both of their room Mom's all the way up to middle school then a volunteer for their middle school office, field trips , etc...etc... My husband and I stay in daily contact with our grandchildren he abandoned. Thankfully, their Mom and guardian allows us to! Because, they don't owe us anything! I look into my grandchildren's beautiful eyes and see the hurt and I can see they have questions that they'd like to ask but they don't. I know why. They want to put up a wall to protect themselves! I don't blame them! We love our son but we don't condone his abandoning his two oldest kids!! It absolutely breaks our hearts for them! His oldest lives in Boston where I recently (in November) went and surprised him for his 11th birthday! It was one of the most beautiful moments of my life! His second child , she lives in Birmingham, England. Unfortunately, we've never met her in person! We can't afford the tickets. We video chat and send pictures. As a grandmother, my arms ache from longing to hold her. I cry myself to sleep ALOT wanting and needing them in my arms! Our granddaughter is mixed and she gets bullied at school because she looks more white. Her Mom is light skinned but the kids tell her she was adopted because her Mom is black!! She tells them her Dad is white and they said that's right! That's why she's not your Mom! You look nothing like her! That breaks my heart into a million pieces! I want nothing more to love on her and protect her!! She has the most beautiful British accent and she laughs at me because of my accent! She CHOCOLATE and reading! She is the youngest in her school's history to EVER get one of her stories she wrote on the "Principals Wall" at seven years old! (I think she get that from Me! Lol). She likes makeup and dresses up! She definitely gets that from her other Grandmother (who's a makeup artist) She loves animals and loves rock climbing! I have no idea where she gets that attribute! I'm terrified of heights and her Dad is not a thrill seeker! That would be our other son! Anyways, sorry for the ongoing comment. Please pray for my son to figure out he should step up and be the Dad he's supposed to be and for not only our grandchildren but for every child in the world without a parent who won't or can't (for whatever reason) be a parent to these beautiful children who never asked to be here in this World! Also, please pray for me and my husband that one day we'll get to meet our sweet beautiful Princess in England! Much love, The Grimms

Yes, if I recall the story correctly this was the last season on Fox (and at the time the show was being canceled and they weren't sure if it would ever come back). They wanted to schedule her to perform for the last episode but it was after her due date. So they scheduled her as late as they possibly could and I think she gave birth a week and a half later.

That is Kelly Clarkson more recent and she went on to perform, not when she was on American Idol as a contestant. She was slimmer when she was on as a contestant a while back and she gained a little weight after having kids. So yeah, that is her a not too long ago. I have very fond memories of Kelly Clarkson from when I was younger. I was in love with the girl next door, and she was going through a rough spot and on house arrest - so I would go over and spend the evenings with her watching American Idol. She was always my favorite on the show - coming from humble beginnings, a waitress that was barely scraping by, taught herself how to sing. When she won, I still remember the whole spectacle of it and how gracious she was. I'll always have a soft spot for her because of the memories I have tied to her performances just starting out, so when she released this song it hit me right in the heart. To this day, it's one of very few songs that can make me tear up. I'm not a father myself, but I couldn't imagine ever abandoning my child for any reason, and seeing her still so hurt over it to this day just gets to me. I got the chance to meet her at a music festival some years after she won, and she is one of the most kind and down to earth people on the planet. This performance in particular you can just tell how hard it is for her to sing about it even though the song had been out for a while. Powerful, moving music.

This song kills me ... my bio dad was In and out of my life growing up and this song was him to a T. .... he was diagnosed with cancer recently and called me and said he was sorry for the past and such .. ( for a little bit I was angry that it took him literally facing death to realize his love for us ) he then told me he was terrified to die alone ...I told him I would come up there and help him ( he is in alaska and I'm in tennesse) and he cried and said I never expected you to help me because of what I put you thru and I told him despite him not being there for me growing up ..I was taught to do what's right no matter how hard it is and he is my father who needs me ...but I have so many mixed emotions about it .. it has all taught me what not to do when I do have kids ...they wont go thru what I did

The most any of us can do is take what life we've been given and make the best of it. You're a better person than I am. My bio dad was a revolving door dad until like 12 or 13. He was never there for me and if the same thing happened to him, I wouldn't give a flying fuck. I'd let him die alone. I always believe that actions have consequences and that you deserve what you get. If he wasn't there for me and was selfish enough to hurt me like this, he can go fuck off. He wanted nothing to do with me so I want nothing to do with him. He made his bed and now he has to lie in it. I always wondered how people would feel guilty for not being there for someone who has no right asking you to be when they never did anything that deserves you. This song still gets me every time I watch it specifically this video, you can see the emotion on the judges too, she was the first ever winner of American Idol season 1 when she was younger, she put weight on over the years as she got older and in this video she actually is pregnant which adds to the emotion. She will tell you herself that this is one of the most personal songs she has ever performed as it is based on her life. And yes she has lost a lot of weight since this despite people being critical of her. Clay Aiken and Ruben Studdard were a different season by the way. Kelly Clarkson is by far one of the most amazing singers I have ever heard, most recently she was a judge on The Voice. She's making a promise to her children to always put them first, as well as expressing her love for her husband who showed her what a real man and father was! Kelly Clarkson won season 1 of American Idol. The other 2 you mentioned (Reuben Studdard and Clay Aiken) were the season 2 winner and runner up, respectively. I would like to see you react to "Don't You Wanna" from her and Jason Aldean. One of my favorites all time, she's so talented.

She was the first winner of American idol beating Justin. Ruben was later. She has heavy radio play so you know some songs. She is currently married to Reba McEntire's son (and Reba is a huge inspiration). She sings a lot about positivity but just as much as about her rough past (the solo Because of You without Reba) and this. Piece by Piece the album was arguably her most open album and following her marriage to Reba's son and her pregnancy.
