I’m almost 50, a good 50lbs overweight, and this is the longest I’ve stayed with a routine consistently. My knees are bad so there are no “jump-lunges” for me.🙄 I jump, I lunge, I squat and just keep moving! I really appreciate that Heather isn’t talking through the whole thing...I can feel a difference in my thighs and shoulders and can tell I’m improving both strength and stamina!

@@amaliabarthel3203 I did finish the whole 12 weeks, swearing at Heather most days! It became kind of a challenge for me to finish the whole 12 weeks and I had the luxury of not having kids at home and not having a full-time job and having to make time. I also have a FB group where we can complain and encourage each other. I love these workouts because she isn't talking the whole time, 'come on, you can do it!' kind of stuff. I hate freaking burpees, love the arm workouts, and definitely feel stronger for having done this program. (not sure if that's helpful)

@@simonclark8882 Thank you. You made me laugh. I did swear at Heather the first session, then I read more comments and decided to hold my tongue. The burpees are still killing me and the push-ups but I try to get better and do more every time. I didn't think the talking would be so important - I guess I used to do workouts from Instagram and those are non-verbal and short videos - you do them and repeat 4-5 times and nobody tells you anything. I will keep going - I just did the Day2 week 5 which was absolutely brutal / 45 sec with 15 sec break + abs. I want to repeat this session in a couple of months because I couldn't do everything 100% - good to know I have quite a bit to improve. I agree - being able to make "space" for these workouts is super important. Now with the pandemic, WFH - it seems the ideal time to prioritize this. Did you have to get heavier weights for later weeks?

Love these workouts! Especially during the pandemic, it's a great stress reliever and mood booster!!! I've recommended to all my friends. Congrats everyone on completing WEEK 4! I can't believe it's already 4 weeks! Heather you are AMAZING! I started this nearly 18 months post-partum (after my 2nd kiddo) and although I lost my pregnancy weight, this program is helping rebuild muscles (namely the core). The only hiccup I've come across was all the squats I cracked my tailbone, so I modified the squats that put pressure on my injured tailbone and off we go. I highly recommend this program for all Mom's out there looking to tone up or help tackle postpartum depression - exercise is one of the best ways to overcome depression!!!

Heather - I share your workouts with anyone who will listen! Until I was about 23, my life was sports and dancing. At 23, I was diagnosed with hip dysplasia and was told my competitive days were over. I spent years going to regular physical therapy appointments. After 25, I had a series of back injuries that left me in chronic pain. I couldn't even get from the floor to standing without pain or re-injuring myself. Since then it's been yoga, walking, and swimming - despite these great forms of working out, I still felt fragile and likely to get re-injured. A few months ago, I tried your workouts and now do them 3-4 times a week. I NEVER thought I would jog, jump, do burpees, etc. again! Your workouts have brought me back to having a functioning, strong body. I haven't felt this good in so long!! Thank you, and I am looking forward to phrase 2 of the 12 week workout plan.

Phase 1 complete! I have been regularly exercising all my life and have gotten bored/annoyed of working out with the same person in other programs. Heather's workout have been surprisingly enjoyable. Usually by this point I am ready for a change, but I really like the simplicity and effectiveness of Heather's workouts. I don't have to think about what workout I'm going to do every day, and I don't feel the pressure to "push harder." I give her workouts whatever I've got for that day and I don't have someone's voice telling me to "give it all you've got." I already know how much gas is in the tank and I'm able to exercise intuitively. That's been a big deal for me. If you are familiar with form, I would recommend to anyone. If you are a beginner to exercise, you may want some guidance on how to perform the moves safely.

I have been a 3 year fan of Daniel and Kelli over at Fitness Blender and bought several of their workout plans and was a very faithful follower, but they have gone to interrupting the workouts with ads (even in the plans I paid for) and couldn't offer any support when I asked about it. SO - I was looking for a fitness home and I think that I've found it. The ads are all up front so I can be sure to concentrate on the work out and I love the music. Heather - you are amazing and I really appreciate the work and effort that you put into every move, every video, and the written 12 week plan. Thanks for your hard work and helping me stay healthy and strong too.

I had to pause multiple times and modify a couple of exercises. This workout was indeed the most difficult one encountered in this plan till date. My maximum heart rate recorded was 175 bpm. Thank you Heather!

WEEK 4 COMPLETE!!!!!!! I challenged myself with increasing weight today, could immediately tell a difference, especially in heart rate, so I did modify the jumping moves a bit. I finished almost the entire 40 sec of stability ball hamstring curls when I could barely do a few just a couple of weeks ago! That exercise has been one of the more challenging ones for me without a doubt! Congrats to everyone who finished phase 1!

Great end to week4! Loved it!!! My progress so far: no weight loss yet but my legs, ab area, and arms are leaner, I feel great and able to complete each workouts strong. So, I am very hopeful that if I stay committed till the end of week 12 that I will see more great results. I am very pleased with my progress so far and I have Heather to thank:D

Phase 1 done, yippee, today’s workout was the toughest for me, because there were more exercises and I used dumbbells that weigh more than the usual I use. I thought today was going to be the day I stopped a workout halfway through....but I did it.1st time ever in my life to exercise for 4 weeks non stop. Thank you very much for these workouts

Hi Heather not sure if you actually read any of these comments but we are on our second round of your 12 week workout plan and we love it. We did your home workout challenge in between and enjoyed that as well we also fitted some stretch exercise as well and boy what a difference it has been working at home before the day starts instead of having to think about going to the gym later in the evening. We have definitely noticed a change in our bodies, and because of your routines all muscles are used so nothing is left out unlike when we went to the gym were we suffered with certain parts of our bodies due to not much activity, the improvement now is fantastic and we will be with you forever until we reach our 80s in 15 years time 🤣. Keep up the good work thank you so very much.

Here I thought I was pretty in shape. Heather's workouts (and ONLY 30 min!) are giving better results in 5 weeks than years going to group fitness classes. First 4 weeks complete, and while we’re in covid19 isolation. Definitely seeing the muscle grow! I’m a bit of runner and I’m seeing my run times improve, the workouts are 100% making me more powerful. At 40 years old I feel I’m coming into peak physical fitness, it’s great! The incorporation of warm up and warm down stretches are keeping me injury free too. Which is awesome!!! Thanks HR 😉

Thank you so much for creating this 12 week challenge and sharing it with us at NO cost! That in itself is amazing! The last time I was fit enough to do HIIT was about 6 years ago. It got me into the best shape of my life! Then, I suffered a displaced sacroilliac and couldn't do any exercise for over a year without it slipping out of place. It has taken a long time to stabilize it. When I found your workouts, I had just completed ChaLEAN Extreme and had a decent foundation. The past 4 weeks have been so exhilarating - yes, I've had to modify so moves, but I am so pleased with my increase in strength and stamina. AND, I have been injury-free! I can't wait to see what the next 4 weeks bring! You're amazing! Thank you again!

This is the first workout program I have ever done! I'm 51 years old and about 70 lbs overweight. Just in the first 4 weeks I've lost 15 lbs! My strength and stamina is definitely improving and my husband has even joined the program! Looking forward to phase 2!

Week 4 of 12 Down - it has been a blast!!! I had found Heather mid pandemic looking for some variety from the other workout videos I wore out with no gyms open. I started using the HR workouts as a cross train for a few months bouncing from no repeats HIIT to tabata. In the beginning of the year I finally got my new sized up dumbbells to increase the challenge and embarked on the 12 Week Journey. I was in pretty solid shape before for a 43 yo man but 12 week program is really cutting me up. Thanks for everything Heather!!! Keep up the hard work everyone - it's worth it!!!

Yeah I started late, but I have completed phase 1! Heather, your workout kills me every time, yet I keep coming back for more every day.. you are the only person who has made me exercise 5days a week.. I m totally in love with your channel..

Just finished week four. Still doing some modifications to the jumping and on knees for about half of the push ups. My goal is to get through all 12 weeks. Then go back through again and see if I can make it through without modifications. After bi-lateral pulmonary embolisms a few years ago after a shoulder surgery to fix my rotator cuff and bicep tendon, screws and all, I am so excited to finally be gaining strength and cardio fitness back up! Thanks Heather for making this available on my own time and in my own home! Oh..... and I am 42 years of age.

Thanks so much for these workouts. I am stronger in cycling and running and my upper body strength has improved so that caring for my patients with neurodegenerative disorders who need complete care is not killing my back anymore. I love how my body is looking too! Thanks Heather!

Done with week 4!!! I feel way stronger than when I started. During the first week I could do reverse lunges with much difficulty. And now I feel like a pro at jumping lunges. This is the best workout program ever!!! And I've even lost 3 kg through these four weeks. I've got more muscles and definitions than ever before. In love with working out with Heather.

I'm gathering all my parts that just got HULKSMASHED!!! I'm so proud of myself though. Thinking on all the years where I was kicking myself saying, 'If only I would've stuck to my workouts"; and finally, I'm sticking to my workout. Such a personal accomplishment. I can see my Growth as a person through these workouts. Growth area #1 Self Worth through Growth area #2 Consistency. See you all in Phase 2....Over and #OUT

Girllll, You are such a badass babe. You kill me in these workouts. I love have fast it moves, the non stop, without talking and instructions is amazing. I feel like I can get just right to it, which keeps my heart rate up. Thanks! Can't wait to keep going!
