unbelievable. In less then a year he was gone. By this time, we were kinda taking that his vocals were great, for granted. Great, doomy album with fantastic vocals and lyrics. I can't believe he did that album and the tour, sick and in pain. But he refused to see a doctor until the tour was done. Hardest part for me to grasp. He could have beat it, had he seen specialist early. As much as a love him and always will, I'm still angry about that.

Geezer Butler wrote a great song here! About youth in the world! And look at our youth today! To busy in phones and pc games to care about life!

Ronnie James Dio wrote the lyrics. In 2006, he said about his lyrics, "You know, 'Children Of The Sea' was really more about the ecological situation and how we're trying to run before we can walk, and this is what we're doing to the planet, and that we're not thinking about what we're doing." (Interview by Brave Words & Bloody Knuckles)

I stand corrected while Geezer Butler wrote 90% of Sabbath lyrics was said Tony had this great riff he played me but nothing to go with it," recalled Dio. "I said, 'Gimme a minute' and went into the corner and started writing down the words."

Love this tune, they sound great! Dio is the best metal singer. His voice was unbelievable. Right on key, low, high vibrato, pitch the biggest voice of all. Miss him, the one and only. King of metal RJD RIP. You're music will live on until the end of time
