Really good video. Nice to see people that care about the land and are good land stewards.Turned out really nice. Hopefully you can get some grass growing and rooted in before any rain washes it. Looks like pretty light soil. Will you seed a cover crop like oats or something with it?

That is definitely steep. I looked at your store too. Didn't realize that you had more than hats. They look nice.

Looks great! Cleaned up and mowable, after the grass takes hold 🤞🙏. Easier to keep clean than clean up. John is an expert operator on the yellow stuff! Great video!

I checked the Internet about size of farms in Saskatchewan. “The total farmed area in Saskatchewan was just over 60.2 million acres and the average farm size is 1,766 acres. Looking at demographics, 26,770 Saskatchewan farmers or 60.6 per cent are in the 55 and over age category.” “In all of Canada the average farm is 809 acres.” So the Keilstra’s have a large acreage to farm (3100 acres) and maintain. Lots of work for them I am sure.

@johnd4018Ай бұрын
nice video showing both construction and farm equipmet in use. Don't believe I would have dragged that ground after seeding. That particular harrow is moving too much seed-infused dirt around. I would have used a cultipacker or nothing at all.
