I really appreciate your videos. For almost 15 years I’ve suffered from heel pain and my doctor/podiatrist answer has always just been, ‘how about another pair of custom orthotics’. In desperation, I started to do research online and happened upon your videos and they are the only ones that offer genuinely effective solutions with an explanation of exactly what was happening to cause the pain and how to address it. I feel like you are the only one out there actually trying to figure this out and I am grateful that you are still at it, offering this new exercise to try. Thank you so much.

I’m glad that you came back, even though it's been ten months from now. Almost quit my job as a dancer because of plantar fasciitis. Your last video(3yr ago) even helped me to understand my carpal tunnel syndrome. This is amazing! I hope you will consider to do more video like this. To be honest, most of the physiotherapists were not understand what gymnasts or dancers needs. I don’t mean that they are not good. But common stretching and exercise were not enough for us. We learned a thing or two from studying in dance school, but not many teacher would focusing on plantar fasciitis. How good would that be if they include this topic in our school learning system! We need that! Anyway, thank you for share! Looking forward to see more videos from you. Take care!

You helped save my life. I nearly lost my left leg from compounding injuries over time culminating in a ruptured plantar fascia. Biomechanics were horrible. July 2017 slight tear. May 2018 ruptured pop. Crawled back to trail head. Entire leg up to mid back solidified with scar tissue. Had three options remove leg surgery or every single day hours of PT. i chose PT. walking again now nothing heavy yet. Should be 100% by next summer. I am thankful i can do normal daily activities after litterally crawling on the ground using a cane and crutches. Literal living nightmare. My left leg atropied and nearly died. Much appreciated. Graston helped too.

I have been following all your advice.. correct toes, Altra wide toe box trail shoes.... 3 months now... finally OMG ... the pain is finally reducing. I am no longer hobbling ... still doing trigger point releasing , massage, using spikey balls to roll my feet with... my feet are warm, good circulation, pink toe nail beds, gaps in between toes, strength like I’ve not experienced in my feet before... do not wear orthotics whatsoever ... inflammation is virtually gone... I’ve walked and walked thru pain to keep the feet going and improve circulation .. dead tissue I feel has moved on. Immense gratitude ... feel like I have my life back again 🙏... up to 7 miles a day walking 👣... so excited to see after 6 months will keep you posted .. love and hugs Lynn x

Thanks for your passion to help the people with that awful condition. I got my PF and heel spur about four or five months ago and I know the culprit. Nike Capri was my favourite sneaker and I loved walking to my local shop very quickly. For the last two months I completely changed my footwear, no more fancy Nike shoes, saw my podiatrist who told me I was overpronating and I would need some stability shoes. Got myself NB Vongo, NB 860v9, oofos indoor slip-ons, Scholl outdoor slip-on and a few Rockports shoes. I have done many things on your advice, got even a spanner from my local tool shop. For the last couple of weeks, I have been seeing a doctor in my local area, twice a week, who has been doing laser beam acupuncture. Might tell you, for the last two or three days I have been getting up out from a bed without any stumbling. I also have included some supplement tablets with glucosamine, MSM and boswellia, plus a topical cream that consists glucosamine and chondroitin. I don't know what has been helping me more, but I believe I've found a winning combination. Your videos have educated me enormously and I have found them very valuable. Losing bit of weight would help me, particularly around waist. And suprise, suprise. Life has given me a little bit of arthritis. I wish your all the best from sunny Adelaide in South Australia. Keep up a good work, mate! God Bless you!👍👍👍😃

I have suffered with plantar fasciitis for many years.I have watched many of your videos, which have all been incredibly helpful. I do yoga and other stretching exercises. I’m now incorporating this stretch into my routine. I have had a great deal of therapy related to PF and I have been to three podiatrists. I’ve tried a variety of shoes and inserts. You techniques and suggestions have proved the most helpful. I’ve found an insert I like, but still trying to find a great walking shoe. I’m a former runner and walker. Your tips about heal stabilization, with a somewhat flexible footbed seem to be spot on for me. I’m 71 year old woman, who would love to get back to a walking or running routine. Do you have any updates on shoe selection suggestions. Thanks so much for all your videos, they’ve been so helpful in reducing pain and increasing flexibility.

FYI: I wore slides slippers and crocs at work for 10 months because at first I thought they’re comfortable as I am on my foot all day being in the medical field. The slides ar soft and cushioned, however, the back (side- outside) part of my heel started to feel pain and could barely walk when I get home or get up in the morning. I also underpronate which i knew just recently (in my 30’s) and having the habit of obsessively researching the cause of any pain im feeling i found that the slides /crocs were not a good idea. So i got myself a pair of asics shoes and felt ZERO tiredness on my legs and feet after a 14 hour work shift.

People seem to go round and round when it comes to plantar fasciitis and how best to stop it. I think the reason there are so many different things people recommend is because plantar fasciitis is simply on its own timetable. Most everyone I have talked to that has had an episode of PF says the same things, namely....that the PF came on out of the blue for no apparent reason, and it eventually subsided out of nowhere for no apparent reason. Everyone has their exercises to improve it, but there is no consistency when it comes to improvement. I used to think the very best thing you can do to help it is to roll it VERY hard with a tennis ball every few days....followed with rolling a frozen bottle of ice water for about 10 minutes. But even these did not work for me after my last episode of PF. My last episode seemed to mainly be helped by wearing my very expensive custom orthotics. Zero drop shoes also seemed to make it feel better. But nothing I did made it go completely away.....until it simply DID one day. And I haven't the slightest idea why. I have had PF 3 times in my life, and each time it came and went based on.....nothing I could put my finger on! Take heart.....PF surely WILL go away.....EVENTUALLY! And when it does, you won't have the slightest idea what caused it to finally do so.

Also now my right foot seems to have gone out in sympathy with the left and I have arch pain but little pain in my heal. This has gone on for nearly two years and curbed my activity which has led to weight gain which probably compounds the problem. Help!! what can I do I wear arch supports, put a tens machine on both feet at least four times a week and I am careful and strecth my feet every morning. It seems things are going ok then the pain comes roaring back and its bad. I think I will buy your book but wondered about relief now.
