It’s been 6 months since I first watched your fantastic uploads. I have been using lots of your methods and I use correct toes every day, changed all of my footwear and my feet are just the best theve ever been. I have suffered plantar fasciitis for sadly years , but now I am in control . Little flare ups means just going back and giving my feet some tlc, but omg I can actually walk without hobbling ... I can’t thank you enough. I use altras correct toes and ininji sox . No stopping me now . Foot health had improved too with warmer feet, nice pink toe beds , toes have nice spaces in between . My last three toes spaces we still have work and adjustments but after 6 months I cannot hardly recognise myself. 🙏

Don't have foot pain but very into overlooked exercises. Various things started me thinking about my feet an I saw I couldn't splay my toes and little, next, and next toes were bunched together and twisting inward toward the big toe. Found a video on KZbin with a lot of information on toes and then this video. Good good stuff...the feet seem like they can easily be misshapened but like they can relatively easily be brought back to suppleness. I just started working on them 3 days ago, can already feel effects. 82 yrs, double scoliosis from Cervical Dystonia, everything out of alignment for 60 years, yet, relentless exerciser and searcher. I'm hopeful. You look like a H.S. junior, you talk like a sage. Thank You ! I'll check you out on Amazon.

I am so glad you're spreading the word about bone broth, fermented foods, cod liver oil--the things that our ancestors used for healing! You are right, podiatrist tend to only pay attention to the symptoms and not the causes of these foot disorders. I don't actually have PF, but I have Morton's toe and many of the pain and problems posturally that result. I've had a lot of success with massaging my trigger points, as well as the Prokinetic insoles which lift the first metatarsal six millimeters. Anyhow, thanks for all your free information and your passion for holistic foot care which in turn affects the entire body. And yes, I'm going to be creepy and say your eyes are gorgeous. 🙄

But its now been 4 weeks and I still haven't been running (I hate not being for active)..... wish there was a ready to start running again date to look forward to

I felt some slight pain and after that some relief. So great :) I couldn´t believe how good it felt after that. I don´t know if it was some kind of alignment or something like that but it felt soooo goood. I just did that exercise about one hour ago but I have been i using toe correctors for a week atleast. Is it possible to use an arch support in your flat wide shoe. Is this ok? or meanwhile working on the coordinating foot exercises. Maybe it doesn't help long term but most podiatrists suggest it!These exercises are hard to do if you have never had much of an arch in the first place.More difficult with people with flat feet. Any suggestions?

Why thank you. And I really hate the podiatrist treatment protocol for degenerative ailments. They use anti-inflammatory drugs for injuries that are not mediated by inflammation? Quite archaic in my opinion. They do not like to fix the root cause of problems, only symptoms.

What advice would you give about custom insoles? Saw a podiatrist yesterday and after a quick examination he is booking me in for insoles. Had that done once before and I found it somewhat helpful, but not a real fix. Custom insoles were also very expensive.
@freeheelpainhelp8 жыл бұрын
I would avoid them. they work well if you have some obvious congenital anomaly, but other than that, they are extremely expensive for what you get. I would try off the shelf ones first. or check out the ones on my website under "helpful" tools. I spent 600 on some and they didn't work. I have heard this same story from hundreds of people. they are not very special or unique unless you have a really weird deformity

I've had pf for 6 years and I work on my feet 10 hours a day... didnt get pf until I stared tthis job..6 years ago. I have Copper insoles and I wear Asics...so can you define a "flat" shoe... I'm assuming you dont mean flip flops... I've been told if the shoe can bend in half then it's not a good shoe...so is there a such thing as a flat shoe that would still be supportive enough for 10 hours of walking/standing?
@PenguinWaddle935 жыл бұрын
I went to PT for pf and tbh it really didnt help. After watching your video, it makes sense. I didnt get my foot trained in the right position before starting the muscle strengthening exercises. Also, I had an ACL replacement and cant straighten my left leg all the way (over a year later) so I feel like that puts more pressure on my right foot, which was worse with pf to begin with. I also have fallen arches. I'm going to try the toe spreader but if you could get back to me on the specifics of shoes and should I wear my insoles I bought for a little arch support I'd greatly appreciate it. I'm desperate for some help, Idk how much longer I can work in this much pain.
@laura_7747 жыл бұрын
I currently have PF I do a lot of walking on hard concrete floor. I have ASICS with the suggestions for the proper shoe type no twist no heel bend as well as the Achilles where it’s not flexible. I do have a custom orthotic that is currently being readjusted as well as have the heel cut out for cushioning. I do have a wide toe box as I have a flat wide foot. What else can you suggest I’ve already watched all your videos regarding PF.
@timyatcak32924 жыл бұрын
Intrinsic muscles (short flexors lumbricales etc) have so little strength an angular advantage within the body of the foot, INCREASED tone and strength would have little effect if any..Angularity based upon boney position has more to do with the ultimate motion of these muscles, for example the quadratus plantae can redirect the angular pull of the long flexor based upon the supinated/pronated position of the foot leading to adductovarus contractures in the digits. ALL the muscular strength in the world would not change that

So my foot with the Plantar Fasciitis can NOT do the pressing of the big toe into the ground exercise, while the healthy foot is effortlessly capable. I mean, clearly, there is absolute truth to his methods. Meanwhile, over the past 25 years, the podiatrists I have met with who specialize in sports therapy have not approached this level of comprehension.

work on making a slow progressive change to footwear with less support. over time, you should focus on getting rid of all orthotics. during this time you should buy a toe spreading device to realign the bones. then you start working out the foot and slowly progressing to barefoot
