Heist Game - Devlog 1: Introduction (PS1.5 Style Game in UE4)

This devlog is dedicated to showcasing the current state of my game. It's a first-person open-world heist game set in the early '90s. I'm using Unreal Engine 4 for this project.
Some sounds were added in post-production, some are still missing.
I made a retro graphics shader pack for this project.

You are making a big mistake by abandoning this concept, my friend. This looks perfectly fine. This video is what got me interested in your project in the first place. If you gonna make a linear game, you are doomed, in my humble opinion. Do not scale down the concept, scale down asset creation, if you can't find game ready assets. It is just grey boxes in the video, but it still looks fun. Just add coop.

Looks amazing man. In terms of getting that PS1.5 style, did you simply create your own assets in a 3d software and export at low resolution into unreal? Either way i love the look and feel!

Thanks! I create my assets in engine as much as possible. Sometimes it's not possible or it's easier to do it in a proper 3D modelling software. Textures I make in Substance Painter and Designer.
