Yeah, trevor made a huge mistake cheating on helen with some college chick. He should've been honest with her when he was asked of his whereabouts talkin about some "I was fast asleep. I thought you were with bernadette!" KNOWING he was wasn't even in the bed when helen called.

I first saw Candyman when I was 12 years old in 1994 over a friends house. His mom found out I hadn't seen it and instantly set a movie night. That movie had me !@#$ed up for at least a week. I'd run into the bathroom, take care of business and hustle out. This ending.....man. I still haven't watched this film again in it's entirety.

The first time I watched this, I might have been 4 years old. It fucked me up as well. I think I saw this film right before being introduced to Michael Myers, Freddy Krueger, and Jason. I love all those other villains, but "Candyman" is the one that truly scared the shit out of me as a kid. I always hated the ending cause it made me cry about Helen's death. Her revenge against her ex-husband was cool, but it still made me sad that she turned into an angry spirit like Candyman.

I was a high school senior when Candyman came out and it scared me then as it does now. Still not sure which is harder to watch: Helen sacrificing her life to save the baby or the bees coming from the mouth of Candyman? But just the last scene when Trevor got his was worth the nightmares.
