for someone who resto-modded an old-ass, broken and beaten Daytona to a high 7’s Hellcat-powered fighting and screaming beast of a car from almost scratch, it really warms my heart to see other people doing such things and things alike to such an extent just like I did, especially on such a recognized classic badass of a car. cheers for this project. you guys are amazing.

I wish I could afford for these guys to do my restoration on '73 Mustang convertible with 351 Cleveland. Suspension upgrade- Quadralink & coilover, stroke motor and a paint job like that. These guys are amazing!! Love watching their work!!

@@Terrath12 - I suppose the car would readily pull 15K however the key is how much additional cash are you willing to sink into the car without going in way over your head? I guess if a person was making say $150,000 - $200,000 a year they could splurge a bit, but they probably didnt get where they are by making bad investments on cars! I’m sure Danny from counts customs would’ve kept the charger too . The charger was definitely sweet. Too rich for me though brother. Maybe if I hit the mega millions. I’ll just keep driving my 2010 Camaro super sport around. 👍🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸

S S Does SS mean Camaro or Chevelle SS ? I have a 2010 Camaro super sport. I have Cooks long tube headers and Borla exhaust on the Camaro. I’ve had it tuned and it’s putting out about 416 hp at the rear wheels. Not too shabby considering what we drove around in the 80s and early 90s and early 2000’s.

We love those cars bcs of the looks. I wouldnt want 60 year old breaking and syspension system in a car I will drive myself and my family in, daily, in 2020's.... Just keep the lines, and some of the spirit in the interior, and give me all else more modern, better and safer. Great job guys the car is breathtaking.

i'm more curious about how much money the put into the car vs how much if any that they made off it, yes 200k seems like a ton of money but when you consider the man hours over a 3 year build not to mention all the outsourcing to other companies i'd be surprised if they made 10k on it when it was said and done, hell i wouldn't be surprised if they lost 10k on it

@David Galea Three years of building is a ton of man-hours. Over 3 years you can do $200k in man-hours alone.

Remember, The Hell Cat was not the 1st engine choice. They already had an engine for the project & shoved it off to the side for bigger & better things. It was after they started the work that they actually made the decision on the Hell Cat 6.2L 707 HP Supercharged Magnum Engine. When they made the decision to swap over to the Hell Cat, that changed a lot of things including which restoration parts to buy. They now had to upgrade with performance parts from stock. When that decision to swap was made, they probably already had time set aside for the body & paint at the paint shop. That time might be hard to change.
