I experienced this problem for a good part of my life. Several daily modifications completely resolved all elimination issues. The first modification was not to spend any extra time sitting on the toilet attempting to force more bowl movement. The second routine change was to raise my feet on top of a small foot stool while sitting on the toilet, this makes it so much easier to get things moving. The third was what you have mentioned, get more soluble fiber into my daily diet, my choice is an organic oatmeal. The forth daily modification is to hydrate with a nice tall glass of water in the morning immediately upon awakening, this really helps for a healthy easy bowl movement. By me doing all these things every day has completely eliminated any hemorrhoid issues including irritable bowl syndrome. 👍

I have followed the exact same steps and I can verify this all works extremely well. I once was on a laxative every 4 days. Now It has been over a year and half. going on 2 years and I have only experienced an issue where I needed a laxative once. Follow these steps and you will not be disapointed. Especially where water is consumed immediately after waking.

@ali akbar What you describe reads like stress. Take warm baths allow heat to relax you and those hemorrhoids, this bath will work better with Epsom salt. If it's stress and you suspect that than find ways to de stress whatever it takes. Meditation, doing something you love, media that is uplifting, etc. Get fluids and increase potassium and magnesium. When you do try and go raise your feet on a stool and relax. Breathe from the belly. Don't try to force it. That makes the hemorrhoid worse.

Step One: Get over the embarrassment. Step Two: See a doctor. Step Three: Go for the banding if your situation can be resolved that way. Step Four: Go under the knife with an experienced surgeon. I had a severe case when I was in my late 30s. Bleeding was significant enough to lower my heamoglobin. Initially, my GP was lancing the ones with clots and expelling the clot, or injecting anti coagulant. She finally sent me to a surgeon & I had surgery which included rubber bands. I was off work for over a month. The surgeon at the time told me to eat 2 tablespoons of psyllium husk daily. I have been putting that in a bowl of cereal daily and have never had a recurrence in 30 years. As you know, psyllium is a major component in a popular laxative product, but I just get it at the bulk store and avoid the sugar and colour in the packaged laxative. I don't notice it in a bowl of cereal.

Sounds pretty bad Trevor. They categorize hemorrhoid in four stages. Yours sounds like stage 3 where it protrudes and you're still able to manually push it back in. It's not going to get better on its own. This thing will progress to stage 4 where you will not be able to push it back in at all. So you need to have it addressed as soon as possible.

Do you sit in one place for more than an hour at a time? Do you eat a lot of bread, pasta, red meat, or spicy foods? If you can avoid sitting as often as possible and add a ton of fresh fruits and vegetables into your dietm and keep the bad stuff to a minimum I bet you'll be better in 3 weeks and in 6 weeks you'll have no more trouble as long as you keep doing the right things and stop doing the wrong things.

I developed a Hemi in my late 20s. This occurred when I had to use the toilet but was in a hurry, so I forced. The initial one was a bit uncomfortable. Then I learned more about hemis. Everyone has them. But yes eat a high fiber diet (I will add probiotics and/or fermented food). Drink water and exercise. Don't push too much (most times I give an initial push to get things moving). Do not use excessive wipes (I put a drop of water on the toilet paper to expediate the cleaning). I am big into getting to the root cause of problems. Don't treat a hemi by micro focusing on the specific spot. Look at the big picture. Now It's 30 years later and I never have discomfort from hemis. Every once in a blue moon I have blood. Just a reminder to continue to be conscious of the issue.

It doesn't seem to be mentioned very often, but trying to get to the cause was the only solution in my case, after 15 years of numerous banding procedures which would work for a period of time but only to have more issues after a few months - uncomfortable and frustrating. However, removing LACTOSE from my diet totally stopped my hemorrhoid issues. Yes - increasing fiber is certainly important, but look at other parts of your diet to see if there are impacts. In fact, my surgeon eventually said to me that 1 in 10 of his patients that Lactose played a part in the cause of this painful issue.

I’m skeptical about any of these suggestions except for the fiber/bran - that’s always a good suggestion. However, I know from experience that the the best way to get rid of them is the tantric way: each time you have a hot shower and after you’ve washed yourself, massage the hemorrhoid gently with your fingertip by swirling your fingertip around it putting slight pressure against the hemorrhoid. If you do this during the hot shower then it will cause the clotted blood to become fluid again and the veins will widen and the blood will flow out of the hemorrhoid. It will get smaller and smaller as you do this over multiple shower treatments until it’s completely gone. This works - no surgery needed.
@swissmaid3 жыл бұрын
That must be painfull? Sometimes one gets blocked by hamorroids, pooping hurts, walking too. By putting cold water on a thick pad of toiletpaper, then holding it over your anus and shifting the cold even up the crack a little bit helps enourmesly! Just for a minute or so. It makes it shrink almost immediately so you can poop! Cold water works, then push the hamoorroids back inside and voila painfree! Also keep everything very clean, by washing with only water, everytime you have to go! Soap surely will irritate. Silver colloid also helps against bacteria. Internal and external. Silver colloid acts like an antibiotic, but does not destroy the good bacteria in your gut.

@thembim58872 жыл бұрын
@@muzzievstudio i used witch hazel mixed with rose water. i bought it at dischem. But how do you live with pain for 6years? i think you should consider colon hydrotherapy. where they literally empty you colon all the way to the rectum using water. Just try it, it could work for you. Dont go a day without drinking water 2-3litres per day. At least have bowel movement once or twice a day. but still use the hazel water because it heals the outside.

I had bleeding external hemaroids, tolerated them for several years. I grew anemic at one point from losing so much blood at toilet time. Finally looked into treatment choices. I went 4 times for banding and it worked. They still protrude after toilet time (I gently reinsert) but no more bleeding at all, and they don't pop out any other time. I had hemorrhoids for a number of years, caused by straining during a bowel movement (constipation). I drank Metamucil (soluble fiber drink) and fiber, tried the creams, banding. Most of the time there was a constant burning pain this would intensify when having a bowel movement, it was a nightmare. I eventually had a hemorrhoidectomy (cut them out) the recovery wasn't pleasant, but in the end, it was worth it. One thing the specialist told me about how to avoid them, was to drink water lots of it. If you are eating extra fiber and are dehydrated the fiber turns to concrete. Not good.

Docs almost never talk about the main reason women get hemorrhoids - childbirth! And here’s a woman ignoring that reason again. Always blame lack of fiber and scold the patient.
@sandral21783 жыл бұрын
EXACTLY, thank you, I was almost 26 when my first baby was born, I thought the pain I was having while still in the hospital, was from my episiotomy, the nurse told me as she was checking on me, she told me I had hemorrhoids, that was where the pain was coming from, I still have them, fiber would NOT help at all, this should also have been addressed!

After my first child was born, I was in so much pain! When my doctor came by to check the episiotomy, he told me that, not only had I pushed out a baby, but I had pushed out 2 huge hemorrhoids. That was so much more painful than the episiotomy incision OMG. I had to donut sit for a week.
@invisableobserver3 жыл бұрын
It may because of hormone changes, cortisol spikes & stress of pregnancy. Stress is a big cause of hemorrhoids, and extra stress on the back & legs will cause them too. Someone once told me they are triggered by indecision, and not having the ability to make things right.
@heliotropezzz3333 жыл бұрын
I got haemorrhoids after childbirth. About once a month I got a heavy bleed from them. I was wondering about contacting the doctor but I wasn't looking forward to an operation or something. Anyway I wanted to try something else first, which was not to eat meat for a while. It worked I never had a problem again and once the problem had gone I went back to eating meat again. The thing is that meat makes stools harder and that's what triggered bleeding at times but I guess my time off meat allowed the haemorrhoids to heal after the final bleed.

An easy option that might work and it doesn't require much: I suffered from Hemorrhoids from the age of 19 until I was 26..it made my life very uncomfortable to say the least. Anyway, at some point, 35yrs ago, I stopped consuming milk products, for different reasons, and within 2weeks the problem resolved itself. A few months later I gave in to cheese and other goodies and sure enough it came back after just a few days. Obviously I reverted back to a no-dairy diet and again It disappeared never to return. I remember reading a study on kids with the ailment and that refraining from all dairy had a very significant positive outcome. The conclusion was a certain protein was triggering the hemorrhoids to become inflamed.
@irisfilmproductions3 жыл бұрын
Well hecc I wonder if that'll fix mine....do u know of any good dairy supplemental products to replace the cheese, etc?

Just to provide a little additional information, those "all brand buds" are a breakfast cereal by Kellogg's. They are a little hard to find (at least around my neck of the woods), but they are out there.

Another educational video docs. FYI on a whole-food, plant-based diet I easily get more than her recommended 40 g of fiber a day. Normal daily fiber intake for me is 60-90 g a day just eating whole plant foods (whole grains, beans, fruit and vegies). WFPB diet is a great way to avoid hemorrhoids and a host of other common, but serious diseases. Highly recommended. 👍👍

There is only one Solution, Eat Yogurt in Breakfast before anyother food, the Bacteria and Whey water in Yogurt will vanish you internal/external Haemmorhoids... Apart from that, drink plenty of Water, no procssed drinks, eat more whole grain Bread, and a Balanced diet...! Yogurt will change your life. My mother always make yogurt at home, and since childhood i never liked Yogurt, as you know that yogurt has Weird bacterial smell. But when i got haemmorhoids, i was told that i should eat Yogurt in breakfast, it was difficult for me, but i started to eat by mixing fruits in it... and yes it worls Haemmorhoids Gone.

@davidr64273 жыл бұрын
@@sweetmountainbaby yes really bad burning. The witch hazel, make sure it’s pure, works for maintenance and prevention. For more immediate relief I used Anusol suppositories. There’s an over the counter and also a prescription with hydrocortisone, Anusol HC, that seemed to work for relief within an hour or two. Once calmed down after a week the witch hazel is good to use every day.

A little wheat germ with water every day. My 75 yo neighbor went in for surgery and th Dr told him this treatment. In a week they were gone. I later tried it myself, and it worked! Wheat germ. Super cheap

I've had painful hemorrhoid episodes in the past where it hurts to sit, stand, or walk for a week or more. High fiber doesn't necessarily help because it just causes harder stools for me. The things that seem to help me the most are all preventative: using a bidet after eliminating, bringing witch hazel wipes with me when traveling so I can gently cleanse and reduce swelling so I don't get a flare up, and regular exercise. I've tried countless over-the-counter and prescription creams and remedies during a painful flare up, and they rarely help at all. I've tried to take rutin supplements when I get a flare-up but it generally takes about a week or more to get over a painful flare-up.

It sounds like you need to drink way more water. Not juice or soda, but pure water. Proper hydration keeps the stools soft and exercise gets things moving.

After giving birth to two giant babies I had mine removed at the age of 28. Best thing I ever did for myself! I’m 64 today and still going strong. Hemorrhoids run I’m my family, both parents and siblings. If I had listened to men who had the operation I would never have gotten it, they acted like it was the most painful thing they’d ever went through. I’d do it again in a heartbeat! If men had to give birth that would be the end of the human race.😂
