I first listened to this interview in a podcast. At one point, I had a feeling Dr. Henry Cloud might speak under a slight influence because of his occasionally slurred speech patterns. I just came across the video version of the same interview. Dr. Cloud had bloodshot eyes and very...tanned! Oh, I read his books, and I respect him greatly. But he didn't make a good "first" impression here. Nevertheless, it was an enjoyable session.

I don’t know why you’d make this your analysis. We all speak differently with different idioms and light varies with computer settings and rooms. Let’s try to give each other the benefit of the doubt. Henry was super sharp in his insights and I really appreciated his counsel.

It was my first time listening to him, therefore, I do not have a way to compare this podcast to the other times when he spoke. Apologies if I offended you or anyone.

I just didn't understand why you felt compelled to make a public statement about it. Wasn't sure how it was helpful to anyone.
