I came back to Etsy for my THIRD try after a year off. I made 23 designs in the past 3 weeks. 48 "Favorites"......for some weird mid century decor idea I had. My shop also has NAUTICAL decor in it. The 2 "niches" are clashing. I literally don't even know what to do now, lol. I haven't uploaded a product for 2 days now because I have no clue if these niches are even scalable or dooable. I'm completely lost.

Her stuff is so cute. If it is not selling it is an etsy problem not hers. If I had a pet I would definitely buy something from her. She is amazingly creative. I wonder if it is a title or SEO problem .

IMO it is a little confusing on the products without photos of the pet wearing the jewelry. The necklaces look like bracelets. I wonder if the causal shopper doesn't understand what the product is/does. I am thinking specifically about the wedding necklace. I think if you made it more clear it is FOR the dog it may help. But beautiful photos.

Would you ever recommend raising prices to be able to run bigger discount sales? My break even point is 25% so running a 25% off sale means that I wouldn't make a penny for any sales. But if I raise my prices higher I feel like I wouldn't get any sales at all as my traffic is already so low. I'd love to hear people's thoughts on this!

when I run a 25% sale I break even as well. I have not been on Etsy long enough to know if raising the prices will hurt conversion rate there, but I do know this from my day job: I am high priced and it seems that the people who pay me the highest prices leave me the best reviews. They value the service I provide when they pay a lot for it. And, though I charge more than most of my peers, I have plenty of work. So .... there is something to be said for knowing that you have something of value to offer and in aiming at customers who can afford to pay a bit more for you valuable product. Higher prices will make it so some of the poorer people can't buy (Maybe you can have some items for them as well--bargain items?? In my day job as a freelance editor, I do offer free or discounted edits to a select few people who can't afford to pay my high prices) but they also seem to attract buyers who can afford to pay more.

Price is one of the least likely things to be leading to low sales. We typically average 40% margins so there is lots of room for higher prices, if you want to raise them but you don't have to if you don't want to

I do print on demand for a little over a year now and I'd like to get to that 20-25 sales a day mark too, Im currently at 10-20 ish sales a day on average..but it's tough and even with consistency, I feel like I'm missing something, I know it's a slow and steady growth but there's gotta be more to it, I create designs one of a kind mainly for women
