I’ve never gotten how people think a big bug is dangerous. Most venomous spiders and bugs are tiny to hide, you can’t even see a black widow from more than a few feet away consistently. If it’s too big to hide you can just smash it easily, rendering it mostly harmless. And honestly kinda cute sometimes, except wood/wolf spiders. My bathroom is decorated with barn wood and even I’ll say it’s kind of terrifying when a perfectly camouflaged spider that’s like 6 inches across moves after you’ve been on the toilet for 5 minutes already.
