I've owned a Benjamin Cayden, two Air Arms S510 XS Xtra one in .22 cal and the other in .25 cal. Now I shoot FX Impact M3's. I have one in .22 cal. and one in .25 cal. Buy and FX, get a chronograph, and tune it with the desired projectile. Then get yourself a Kestrel enter the data and read the wind. That simple. FX is a top level air rifle period. I paid for all my equipment.

What pressure are you running reg at? What ammo are you shooting, ect ect. At 26 yards you should absolutely be shooting 1 pellet sized hole.

I have just bought my first air gun in 35 yrs, a .177 FX Impact M3! Why? Ì needed a light-ish gun which can be easily fettled, I am so amazed at how tunable it is out of the box. (You will love this next comment....) however, my sub 12ft lbs (uk resident) cost the SAME £'s as a fac rifle, yet has NO 720 plenum, NO micro roller adjuster, a mag with a manufacturer printed flaw(retailer has now replaced) and the square .177 marked pellet probe block rubs/fouls on the butt chassis whilst being opperated and had zero first stage trigger pull😢 Yes it shoots pellet on pellet (honestly 😊) but it came without even a basic adjustment tool starter set(for an adjustable product, that is not set up correctly) I bought this with the intention of tuning it to a fac rifle at a later date(following joining a club and getting back/honing my faded Marksmanship skills)to pest control on a friends farm. Although now I will have to spend hundreds of pounds for the aforementioned parts! (That is SOO disappointing!) I feel..... cheated😫 After all, it has taken over 3½ years to save for this(I was injured in a non-fault driving accident in 2004, not able to work through my disabilities incurred) which back then was the Impact was £550-ish..... now nearly £1900-ish 😳🥺 Don't get me wrong, it (the gun) suits my needs and requirements, is a fabulous piece of kit, a multifunctional masterpiece (well..... nearly) of engineering, but the flaws are there, it'll take me a good while to save for the .22 and .25 barrel kits required for my intended quarry, which are going to be out of my reach for a long time yet due to the retail prices. I will begin filming my adventures where I will be giving frank, accurate, honest (with a little humour thrown in) reports and reviews. Yep ive started heading into the more expensive rifles and honestly im not that impressed at all .my budget rifles have been the best .ive just got a brk ghost and im going to have to work on it .. my thinking and not for the first time is why would i send it back to brocock to work on when they couldnt get it right to begin with . To be fair ive been the same about my BSA clx ,ll fix it myself .fair enough ive been a little unfair saying they spray like shotguns ,theyre not quite that bad but its a very low stadard from companies that keep promoting the selves like theyre someone but just arent delivering the quality.

Mitch you of all people I watch your show you’re awesome. When you pay all these people to shoot can you hide the fact anybody new to this one that’s all they see is FX airguns being shot by a lot of people on KZbin pick it up automatically think that that’s the best gun and that’s what they should have and that is the furthest thing from the truth. And why does it hurt when they don’t show they’re missing shots . That’s another trick to make you think that every time you fire that gun you’re going to hit at 150 yards. And the fact of the matter is those guns aren’t even accurate at that distance with slugs. You’re better off using pellets . Those guns are a jack of all trades are in a master of nothing

If a given person appears on youtube, talking up only one brand, while telling you all else is rubbish, then they are "captured". It is no secret that Matt Dubber is in business with FX. They co-own the Element brand of scopes; with FX no doubt having fronted the bulk of the capital. You should be able to look through "reviews" that are really just glorified advertising. It may be disappointing, but it is what happened to Guns& Ammo, Car & Driver and similar publications a long time ago. Are there any unbiased reviewers out there? Biased on not; I like these: kzbin.infovideos kzbin.infovideos Giles tells you which airguns he paid for. This assumes the others are on loan, or given to him for free. Ted Bier used to review and use a variety of airguns. Now, he does not seem to have time to make videos anymore. When he does, they invariably involve FX. Ted is a partner with Element optics too. This does not make Ted a liar. It makes him a grown man with responsibilities and priorities, that unfortunately don't include the fun shooting videos he used to make. You have to remember that the impression obtained by a reviewer over one week is not the same as owning something for a year. Owner reviews with initial and ongoing impressions over "long enough" are worth quit a bit. But does the average person have time and patience for those to appear before he buys something? Good luck with your mission; whatever that is.
