US 2025 is the 2024 in Korea. The Korean 2025 is the facelifted version. Not available in US yet

I was against hybrids but when it comes to power increase, I now prefer them over turbocharging. A hybrid Toyota and Honda will still be more reliable than any turbocharged vehicle. Not to mention the better fuel economy. Looks like the Koreans have the same business strategy that the English: they wanna make buyer's decision based on emotions by offering nice interior/exterior design and well equipped vehicles but mechanically they're below average.

Love my new GV70. But even 2.5T gas mileage sucks. I drive 98% in NYC and its spectacularly 12miles/gallon

Genesis has crap engines just like the rest of the Hyundai & Kia engines being replaced, recalled, and blowing up going back to before the 2015 model year - their brand new ‘24 Santa Fe has these same engine issues & now failing transmissions.

Interesting comment.

Interesting though they offer a 5 year 130,000 km (79,000 miles) warranty with free service, then additional 12 month warranty after each yearly service. Up to 10 year total life. Sounds like they’re pretty confident with their engines.

Drive train warranty 10 years. Kia/Hyundai is well known for being one of the most improved company. This sounds like a hater commenting.
