Can you also custom tune the transmission or is the only option to flash the gts trans map? Not sure if this is a complete tuning solution for the end user or just a package to modify a couple gimmicky things with the exhaust and to allow dealers to custom tune the car

it's designed to be an off-the-shelf tuning platform with the ability to flash custom maps if you work alongside a specific tuner. the only transmission mapping available is the GTS software as far as I'm aware

all OTS maps are available for $50, i dont believe theres any way to purchase them individually

Question if I upgrade my injectors to stage 1 do u need to play with specific parameters in bootmod3 for injectors or will it identify them and make changes automatically or accordingly?

I'm not entirely sure. What sort of injector upgrade would you be doing? The only "upgrade" I've heard of is a switch to port injection. In which case at that point it would probably be best to go with a custom flash.

How long does it take for the ECU to adapt to the new map parameters? I have just flashed my 2013 328i with OTS stage 1 octane 93 and then I went for a ride which I felt the engine is not as smooth as stock map.

@@midamultitool6376 Not by itself! I had to mix Bensin 98 (in Sweden, which is equivalent to 93 in the USA) with some octane booster in order to achieve smoothness. I have recently changed spark plugs with new ones (bmw original parts, not one level colder) and it also controbuted to the smooth engine run.

You should probably get stage 1 octane 91 or acn91 if the quality of gas you have access to isn't octane 93 at the pump. If you have octane 91 or lower I suggest stage 1 octane 91acn tune

Can you tell me if you're able to flash a map with 0hp & 0tq changes but are still able to configure the exhaust burbles? Not looking to make more power over stock but would like to adjust the burble settings for each drive mode on my M4. I saw the "stock tune" option but didn't know if it was configurable. Thanks!

MHD is much easier to use. Ive seen the protuningfreaks video of tge bm3 making ridiculous power numbers that need to br dyno verified for my to believe it
